GOOD CD 79/100 21 years have passed since their split, but thanks to Escape Music’s , original members Don Wolf (v) and Cam MacLeod (lg, v) are now back assisted by SWEDISH MARTIN KRONLUND(Dogface, Gypsy Rose) on guitars AND GREAT PRODUCTION all the new tracks breathe that classic 80s sound highlights are “The Eyes Of The World”, “Hard Cold Stone”, “Dreams Are For Ever”or“Don’t Turn Away” BUY IT if you like 80's CANADIAN AOR it's a true jewel

Bombastic riffs, athmosferic keyboards and catchy tunes. Sounds like it was produced in 80s. "America" and "The eyes of the world" are standouts here. Their music mixes some elements of Deep Purple, Magnum and Demon. In other words, outstanding release. 8,5/10

No, no, no. Did not like this. Two good tracks, 'America (Hello Again)', which is a very nice tune, but has terrible lyrics and 'Nightmares', which is a decent hard rock song. Otherwise I didn't think much of this at all, I just found most of the tunes quite boring.

Good album with solid songs...rather than melodic Hard Rock i would call this Melodic Metal with some hints of Hard Rock and AOR too (well 2 songs are AOR structured)..."Victim Of The Spotlight" a pretty good starter then the first AORish song "America (Hello Again)",wonder how the sound is all about..America?,AOR?...give me a sign!..."The Eyes Of The World","Hard Cold Stone" (cool songs both),"Dreams Are Forever"(another AOR inspired tune along with America, the ones i liked the most),"Hold On (Gettin' Tighter)","Don't Turn Away" & "Out Of Control"(great song to en an album)..as you can see the album is pretty complete and satisfying...Musically talking i noticed some kind of Rainbow,Deep Purple(without too much keyboards)vibe to it as also Mr Wolf has some reminiscences of Glenn Hughes in the way of singing...anyway quite round album.87/100

don wolf and cam mc leod have an excellenr idea to mix their talent with the swedish guys of gypsy rose.the production have the typical trademarks of martin kronlund.clear ,strong and very mighty.this record have a big sound with big guitars and a very solid rhytm section.nevertheless two fillers "victim of the spotlight" (where is the choruse?mystery)and out of control (too speed for me).no problem for the rest ,it s excellent .this album deliver a good dose of mighty melodic hard rock.you can buy with trust.the order of the songs are not the same on the japan import.i recommand this version cause the japan bonus track (n°9)"night city" is a great song.

i can add that unfortunatelly don wolf have always the same voice.very strong but very special and not melodic .when he sing low he is always out of tune.he is better when he force his voice or when he scream.the mark of the average singers.
