i brought this album yesterday and it's a decent album but the keyboards...well, not really my cup of tea. There's just too much of them. The first 2 songs are pretty good, straight forward rockers. After that there's a lot of ballads and pop songs which I found quite unbearable. But if you're into this genre you will probably enjoy this. def_leppard18@yahoo.com

'Change the attitude' says it all...One of the happiest aor songs I've ever heard. Could've been included in the Eurovision Song Contest...Hahaha. 'Steal your Heart...' is pretty good too along with 'Bye, bye...' but my overall impression is that it's all been done before. Promising talent here but not enough creativity to make it big time. Lacks balls...

From: Kim HP Date: June 30, 2003 at 16:47
Yeah I agree 'Change the attitude' is actually a great song... but the last song is really wimpy.

Easy come and go, we all have a future are also damn cool. They've should've been much much bigger

From: Scandi Date: January 13, 2004 at 18:33
On this one the singer sounds a lot like Robin McAuley,eh ?? Scandinavia: I like the 'done before' stuff if it's based on the cool 80s --and it REALLY does! On the other hand they could have done more out of this, yeah.. For example in I'M GONNA FIND YOU: There simply had to be another (high-pitched) voice in the middle of the four refrain lines. BUT it's surely a FANTASTIC album nevertheless

Un contundente 8/10. run2u69@hotmail.com KEEP ON ROCKIN'!

Great cd, Good AOR cd,with a lot of instrumentation. 9/10

From: Geoff Date: September 22, 2004 at 0:51
These guys are sort of like the Stryper of non-Christian hard rock. Great musically, but the lyrics are truely unbearable. That said, there are some nice melodic rock songs here, like the awesome opener 'Steal your heart away' and 'Easy come easy go'. Unfortunately it hurts just looking at tracks like 'Bye bye Johnny', 'Sing me a song' and 'The loner' because I know how bad the lyrics are within.

From: Scandi Date: January 10, 2005 at 14:57
Hey Geoff: 'Bye Bye Johnny' & 'The loner' are good songs with good lyrics about themes you don't hear often in this genre. However, the best song is 'The day after' which could have been huge -I mean really HUGE; alongside of classics like 'Hotel California' or 'November Rain'- if it only was longer so that it would show its whole potencial of a very pathic and unique song !! 8/10

From: TIM (2) Date: March 19, 2005 at 13:22
This starts with 2 great songs and ends with 2 great songs. What's inbetween is a bit up & down, but if you love your keybaord-filled Scandi AOR then you'll love this too. Some amazing keyboard effects on this (particularly on opener "Steal your Heart...") and a lot of quite poppy songs, but fans of Da Vinci & Stormwing etc ought to track this one down. 8/10.

From: Stravincere Date: May 31, 2006 at 11:45
Truly one of the best albums out there. Although the vocals are an aquired taste it really apeals to me. The somewhat raspy vocals fits the ballads perfectly of which the standout is "sing me a song". This band sure knows how to make a ballad given that almost everyone is a true must-have (especially "lonely", although not included in this realease). I conclude that this album is maybe their best and essential to any (power) ballad freak!

Pretty good and better than I expected. Starts off with two glam rock/pop songs then follows with a few ballads and on to the catchy power rock anthems that Return had in their arsenal. Plenty of keys and good guitar. Good disc all in all; 8/10. If you like Treat, Da Vinci, Skagarack, and Europe then you'll like this.

Buen disco de rock melódico alegre y festivo. Me encanta "Change the attitude", que buen rollo de canción!!

From: Pudelrockarn Date: August 22, 2008 at 13:59
This is utter crap.

From: newscandi Date: August 23, 2008 at 19:28
OK- very soft and wimpy. It's almost disco music at times. Songs to sing along, have some fun, no more.

From: newscandi Date: August 23, 2008 at 19:28
..no less

From: wnlexrock Date: February 9, 2010 at 9:11
Esta segunda entrega trae un rock mas suave, pero con el sello inconfundible de su vocalista y Aor en general. Me agrada mucho el tono de voz de "Knut". Rockanrolero de Chile!!.

If you like mid tempos and ballads then get this effort...honestly i expected more but at the end is quite a satisfactory album..."Steal Your Heart Away" lovely song, good melody,"Sandy" is a nice ballad along with "Sing Me A Song","Easy Come Easy Go" a catchy track & the last one "We All Have A Future" closes in a "wimpy"(but nice) way the album...86/100

From: 123charpenay Date: January 25, 2012 at 13:01
2 great songs track 3 and 7.not extraordinary but great.but the rest ...track 1 is great but the sound of the keyboards is awfull.track 2 start great but the choruse hyper simple ruins the song.track 4.5.6 are some very soft ballads."sandy" is boring boring boring we never see the end.track 8.9.10 are just decent.the singer is very good the production is great but the songs are very very average.no inspiration for this very rare cd s.

From: hair metal again Date: October 3, 2014 at 1:48
ok release by RETURN in their european way of hard rock which is not my fav and it needs great songs to show!unfortunately here there arent such big songs and overall this one is just satisfying !"steal your heart away" and "easy come easy go " of a band that has a certain quality ,but always somethin s missing

From: Eric Date: April 21, 2023 at 11:25
"My Wildest Dreams" is my favourite track, it's very catchy with a nice riff. The rather big hit in Scandinavia was "Bye Bye Johnny", with those smooth yet raspy killer vocals. Production is good, similar to Norum's Total Control (same studio and team in Witt/Blom). According to guitarist Steinar Hagen, Return sold over 700 000 albums, a very good number for a band with Norway as main market. The song "Change The Attitude" was also a big hit in Norway, and this happy type of song reminds of the Danish band at the time Fate. Attitudes was the best-selling of all Return albums. Not all songs are solid, but it's a fun rock record with excellent vocals by Knut Erik Ostgard. Return's "V" from '92 is their most consistent album though, with slightly even better production. Recommended for fans of Scandi rock, and fans of other Norwegian acts like Stage Dolls, TNT and Wig Wam. Despite a little light at places and too many ballads, still one of the better Norwegian rock albums!
