Not bad, but not the most memorable follow up album in history. Nice to see Pete Coleman finally getting the recognition he deserves blasting out those horns.

Excellent!!!!!!!! Great album from a great band. Good production and very good songs. "Between Dark And Dawn" is the song of the year!!! check it out!!!!

It has everything a die-hard melodic rocker would ever want in under a hours worth of listening. Lovers of big keyboards, slabs of guitars and Mormon choir-like vocal harmony arangements will get the ultimate kick out of this album.

Really like this album, is better than their first and the 'Promotion' stuff for me. Is also better than the slightly heavier "Ordinary Just Won't Do" album that followed this (although I'm going to live with that one a bit before I comment...) The harmonies are incredible at times, and the first 6 tracks are awesome (and very varied). After this it falls away, but this is quality listening for Scandi rock fans and progressive fans alike. 8.5/10.

Muy tardes los conoci. Lastima que separaron. Para aquellos que les gustan los grandes coros, buenas guitarras y una buena produccion, no lo duden. Between Dark And Dawn mi favorita.

It’s the second cd I take and I think it will the last, too. After”the book how to..”I’d like to hear some better ideas but…every track is similar with boring choruses, poor arrangements around generic riffs.I like only the ballad, really a good one but the rest is very very forgettable as this band IMO.

No el AOR que mas me agrada pero bueno. Los arreglos corales son buenos y.. bueno no soy muy fan de lo pomposo.. buena producción eso si, los solos la mayoría buenos. Mis favoritas son "Between Dark And Dawn" bonita balada, "Straight Face" mi favorita del disco, "Gotta Give It Up" y "Blinded". Su siguiente estuvo mucho mejor IMO. 8/10

Very good Progressive Pomp and AOR album with an excellent singer that reaches the high notes like drinking water!...musically remindes me of Kansas from the late 70's mid 80's..."I Refuse" solid track and one of the best,"Battle For Your Heart" is Pomp wherever you put it and has great backing vocals, just another highlight,"The Prophecy Of The Returning Son" another shaft of light,"Between Dark And Dawn" beautiful ballad,"Gotta Give It Up"also a goodie,"Who's It Gonna Be" with some kind of Rainbow flavour(the band),"Positively Negative" with a happy chorus 2 sing along,"Blinded" is just excellent...round album with great songs and great arragements...94/100

One of the best Pomp/AOR albums of all time IMHO!
