Another typically Shakra record, which means good straight ahead hard rockin' ! If you like this band and have their other records, you can buy this blind !

A very solid effort although I was expecting a little bit more after the grerat Rising album. Nevertheless one of the best hard-rocking releases of 2005. If you do like catchy melodies, heavy hooks and the sound Shakra's famous for - this is your choice. Vero good record with a liitle bit more contemporary sound. 9/10.

Shockingly "blah" compared compared to the band's previous albums. Don't misunderstand, there's nothing wrong with this, and it will be a keeper for fans of heavy-hitting melodic hard rock, but it lacks the full-throttle power & authority of earlier efforts, perhaps because the production is darker & muddier rather than the crisp, clean, defined sound we've heard in the past. Shakra are mighty melodic metal warriors, but this time around, the mighty have fallen...but just a little bit.

Like Crystal Ball, Shakra have delivered another album here of good consistent melodic heavy rock. Also like Crystal Ball, I feel they need to spice things up a little and really deliver an album to knock the balls out of people's sacks. As noted above, this is a very good solid album, but contains NOTHING you'd not expect from them. I want to hear something mind-blowing and I think these guys have it in 'em with a bit more emphasis on song writing next time. Still very good CD.

Another solid release but not as good as their previous CD's. This release has a bit of a modern feel but still retains the Shakra Hard Rock sound. I was expecting more, but still a good release. Just listen to Chains Of Temptation, All Or Nothing, Fall, Make It Alright and Do You Know. Rated 8/10.

GREAT CD 87/100 SWISS MODERN MELODIC METAL like GOTTHARD with more balls and some additional sharp edge The Modern feel is from some loops and FX !But it don't change the listening pleasure or anything just add some spice here and there which is good The band is tight as HELL and MARK FOX better and better

Get all their cds (except the self titled). They are one of the best new bands. 10/10.

Modern Rock or Metal...this is one of the bands that using that kind of sound,i like..."Chains Of Temptation" is a pretty enthusiastic catchy song,"Out Of Control" rocks good,"All Or Nothing" this is my favorite one, modern AORish song,"Walk On Water" & "She's My Ecstacy" both also catchy ones...acceptable album if you like modern sounds...89/100

for one time i am not ok with rick.the modern sound is very very light.only a little bit.without any doubt the best shakra record ever is "power ride"."fall" is for me a really excellent effort.big sound ,super production all songs hooked you without problems.thumbs up to our swiss neighbours.they are very lucky to have many many super hard rock bands.in france we have the best wines ,the best cheeses, the best bread ,the best girls of the world. but in good music we have......nothing.(only eyes for crying.

i can add that the japan bonus track "jeannie" is a super song,a real killer song.
