The problem with this album is mainly the style. It's no AOR, nor 80's sounding. It's alternative melodic rock. At least half of the songs are quite boring but there are some good tracks, mainly ballads. It was really a bad move, no 80's rocker got a chance to succeed by adapting to alternative or grunge. He should have stuck with AOR, he could have a second carreer right now...

You are spot on rbrigade!!!...yes, he tried another kind of sound that somehow made him vanished from his really high skills in the AOR field.I really quite like the album even though with this "weird" attitude that he took 2 guide his music in here and the best song (at least 4 me) is this wonderful ballad "Life Of A Broken Heart"...the rest of the songs as rbrigade said are kinda "boring" (perhaps i wouldn't have chosen this adjective) but yes...more into the alternative sound...shamely.80/100

I'm giving the 4 track bonus cd single of this album a try..."Life Of My Broken Heart" is the best,a beautiful mid tempo ballad,"The Ways Of Love" nice too,"Twistin' In The Wind" a goodie one & "Anyone But Me" another nice soft...for these 4 tracks i will give an 85/100...gotta listen again to this album a.s.a.p...probably i could change my mind about it...
