The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Urgent CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Urgent are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Has anyone got any words on this one??

David, this is a great AOR record, man ! You should add it to your collection ! Pure eighties AOR, class release !

From: koogles Date: February 15, 2004 at 12:12
Yes, agreed! This is one of those ESSENTIAL CDs... better than 'Cast the First Stone' and on par with great releases by CHINA, AVIATOR, a slightly heavier HONEYMOON SUITE. Love the keys and shamelessly big production... I can't imagine any true 80s rocker not liking this.

Very strong release, however I think the line up is slightly wrong as Yul Vasquez played guitar. This is a stronger, fuller produciton than the first with a re-recorded version of Running back which is awesome. A must have melodic rock monster.

The line up listed here is for the 'Other' Band Urgent that (Canada) released the excellent 'Timing' album listed elsewhere on the site.

From: TIM Date: March 17, 2004 at 13:24
See if that don't look better, Jez.

Good record. Similar to Loverboy. Very tough to find on CD.

From: TIM (2) Date: May 12, 2004 at 4:41
Great 80's stuff, big layered sound with just enough keys. Have seen on eBAY recently for around £30 which is a bargain. Can't wait for the new Diving For Pearls either, with the excellent David Prater producing it should be every bit as good as the first...

Playing this one again as we speak. Stunning keyboard-laden AOR monster this, and pretty rare now but worth every single penny. The ballad 'All Over the World' is just huge with layers of harmonies, and 'Always be There' is just an awesome AOR tune with great keyboard fills. If you like Aviator and 80's Loverboy then add this to your collection ASAP. 9/10.

Is the "Running Back" on this album the same one on "Cast The First Stone"?

From: rocket Date: March 10, 2008 at 9:52
Yes KurtmanJP - same track

From: shoemaker Date: March 27, 2008 at 17:39
Just ok, lights and shadows here. RUNNING BACK is a fine track.

From: andi Date: February 15, 2012 at 10:18
best song"Extra Extra"....very kick ass...rest aor....like Styx

From: pompster80 Date: July 13, 2012 at 14:47
Again a superb AOR-album with layers of keys, available at a reasonable price. Nevertheless, their debut was much stronger. Highly recommended!

From: juan carlos Date: August 23, 2014 at 12:15
I already commentted this one a long time ago, what's up? well, This album is just good to me,yeah Clean Production, Keyboards everywhere, big choruses, good songs but not the great thing in my book, maybe because i'm not into Pomp AOR too much and there are many uptempo songs. If you love stuff like Styx mixed with Honeymoon Suite this is for you. My favorite tracks are "Always Be There" "Running Back" & the ballad "Turning The Knife". 85/100

pretty good release for URGENT but not as good as stated above !under Tom Allom s guidance the result should be bigger ,as the songs are well performed but dont have many hrilling hooks!standout track for me is "pain(love is a victim)" which is a great song indeed!good stuff ,but not first class
