Good thing you can usually find this CD in a bargain bin or on the cheap rack at your local used CD shop, because it ain't worth more than a few bucks. Aside from "Sorry I Broke Your Smile," there's just not much memorable here. Some folks will have a different opinion of this album, but I'm sorry, good guitars, one great song, 2 or 3 decent songs, and a whole bunch of fillers is certainly nothing to die for.

I picked up this album for $.50. Yes very good guitars, some songs are alright. Id say 6/10

From: Reno Date: January 25, 2003 at 3:39
Some of the first tracks sound like Warrant. Sorry I Broke Your Smile especially. It was an ok cd, but I wouldn't spend more than a couple bucks on it.

I bought this cd on E-Bay for a penny. I had read mediocre reviews and was only willing pay this much. That is the best penny I have ever spent. This band deserved better, the vocals aren't the greatest, but the harmonies are fantastic. The melodies remind me of Harem Scarem and the guitars shred, they are a cross between Nuno Bettencourt and George Lynch. If you ever have the chance to pick it up, do so. If the band members ever read this, thanks on making a great disc, Dave.

I got scared when I heard one of those cross-fader things scratching records on the first track. For the most part, they stuck to the proven formula and made a solid rock album. If you see it in a bargain bin, pick it up!

There are about 4 or 5 good songs on here, but most of it is wimpy corporate-metal. If the songs would have been heavier and less poppy this would have been a much better CD, because the guitarist can play some good solos and riffs.

A typical Britsh rock band trying desperately to sound American. Some decent songs and nice licks but not memorable enough. 6.5/10

From: purrfect-kat Date: October 8, 2003 at 1:04
I love that song "Sorry I Broke Your Smile" . . . (catchy)

From: Dan Friml Date: June 16, 2004 at 13:09
Just bought this one today for a dollar... And what a surprise!!! Great disc! I knew Emotional Earthquake from the Freejack soundtrack and I loved it, but the rest of this album is great too! Buy it if you can find it!

'Sorry I broke your smile' and 'Green with envy' are decent melodic rock songs, and I like the sound of this band... it's just so bland though, IMO. For me, those 2 songs are the highlights, but still very safe and well-contained. IMO, the rest is very average and this is a very average disc. This comparison is completely out of left-field and the songs / brilliance is nothing alike, but at times the band sounds musically slightly similar to Boysvoice... but much worse, IMO.

From: cook_jaime Date: October 24, 2005 at 12:11
If I had found these guys back in 92 I would have probably loved them. However, I didn't and now these just seem kind of generic. I like most of the songs but I don't ever long to play the cd.

From: z4roxx Date: September 9, 2007 at 10:28
Suprised to read very negative comments here, this is another good melodick hard rock piece IMO,commercial and catchy, good choruses, clean vocals,it's easy to get for a very cheap price and for this fact I recommend the disc to everyone!

schrottalbum!

Wow, I guess I'm in the minority here. Yeah there is some filler on here but I actually like this one. Again like most other artist of this genre, it came out (1992) at a bad time. I'm glad it was easy to find and think it is worth picking up for the cheap prices that it goes for. It's nothing mind blowing but it's good catchy melodic rock. I actually have the Japanese version with 2 bonus tracks.

I really like this CD. Great Hard rock moments. Pretty unique in some places. I love "Emotional Earthquake"

From: JONBONPIGO Date: May 2, 2016 at 19:55
Standout Tune is "You Got What It Takes" I find this Top Notch!!....Best of the Rest are "Green With Envy".."How Can You Believe in Love?" & "Emotional Earthquake" Other than the aforementioned "You Got What It Takes" nothing really sticks out as overly memorable...and nothing really sticks out as utterly disposable... You can find all the tunes on YouTube...give a listen for yourselves...ROCK ON!!!

From: Dramarama Date: April 16, 2021 at 18:38
I actually like this. I agree that the singer sounds a bit like Jani Lane in his midrange but he can go much higher and much lower than the late Warrant singer. Also, the music is extremely experimental, mixing funk, jazz and odd time signatures with traditional hard rock stylings. I really like How Can You Believe In Love.

From: Auslander Date: April 26, 2021 at 23:26
Thanks Dramarama for bringing this album to my attention. I now have it in my hot little hands. To me it sounds like Extreme who are a clear influence, especially in the harmonies and the funky rhythm. They tend to have a slower tempo than Extreme on most tracks. But I really enjoy it. Walk Right Now is a good upbeat opener. You Got What It Takes is the best track. Sorry I Broke Your Smile is a stab at a commercial ballad. Come Inside has samples, a faster beat and even an orchestrated section. A bit proggy. Overall, a good album and a good effort. Not as good as Extreme but a fan of that band should like this. Rated C+
