this blonde beauty used to be one of the best exports to come out of sweden."cold winter night" is big on hooks and melodies.erika does a commendable job in the vocal department and she is assisted by none other than yngwie malmsteen on the song "emergency".if you like the typical swedish aor sound but with female vocals then this is for you.

From: tom Date: May 15, 2003 at 19:41
i was supposed to get married to her, but she prefered that guitarhero.anyhow, my first acknowledge with Erika was the album 'planet x' which is more poppy sounding but nothing more than one of my faves,.the last album i know of that came from this blonde beauty is 'ripe' if i'm not wrong.also a very good album.so that means i recently heard her aor-ish stuff and boy,is she talented. so where is my love, erika nowadays?does she have a website ,does she have my phonenumber?batcave777@hotmail.com

A honestly agree that she's beautiful.. --but let's come to the music: I would love to have this album but I haven't yet. So if there's is someone to sell it to me, please contact cornelius_groth@yahoo.de and I would be soooo happy!!

Muy normalito para mi gusto.. ¿q tal los otros?

From: Scandi Date: September 14, 2003 at 14:23
Not "normal" Robert-- The albums are EXTRAORDINAIRE!! I only listened to two songs of the "Lady luck" album (they are great, the others must be too). The Songs sound like a lighter version of HEART or SKAGARACK equal to TONE NORUM It's almost pop you might say, they are very romancing but never lack the "power of AOR" (guitars, edges).

hi Cornelius a tip for you...MTM will re-issue this cd, that is if they haven`t already..check their web-site (MTM MUSIC)

From: cornelius Date: February 1, 2004 at 18:12
Yeah.. I already gasped up the reissued version! Thanks a lot! I know MTM, it's a GREAT idea to bring up so many eighty- and scandi-based rarities on a sublabel. To the CD: I don't like it as much as I expected. "LADY LUCK" I like more. The one in between I (still) don't know. "Cold winter night" and "Together we're lost" are the best songs in my opinion.

From: Kim HP Date: April 28, 2004 at 19:22
Whoever calls this AOR is way off. This is pop music, nothing else! Still, with that being said, the solid production and infectious songwriting still makes it a good cd. Best tracks in my opinion are "Emergency" and "Together We're Lost".

From: Oriol Calpe Date: February 5, 2005 at 6:24

From: manos Date: February 12, 2005 at 6:05
This album sounds way too scandi to me! You ve got here Europe(the band)-like keyboards and some typical euro hooks, ''Together Is Lost'' is indeed a good song -bytheway it's hook reminds me of the Roxette's hit ''Fading Like A Flower''. There are some really good moments but the truth is that Erika is not gifted with the greatest voice on earth. In contrary, her voice is rather rough and not melodic at all. Some good songs do not get the appropriate support from the lead singer. 6/10

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: May 15, 2005 at 15:52

From: 9 CHAMPIONS A 1 Date: May 15, 2005 at 17:04

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: May 15, 2005 at 22:04

From: ROBERT Date: May 16, 2005 at 9:43
Vamos Champis tronco, igualita a ROBIN BECK!!! .D

From: 9 CHAMPIONS A 1 Date: May 16, 2005 at 10:56

From: juan carlos Date: September 22, 2006 at 23:24

From: z4roxx Date: December 18, 2006 at 13:44
I must change opinion about her voice. And I can add that maybe this one is the best cd I do have in female aor solo cds’.”together we’re lost”,”Line of fire”,Heavenly”,”Cold winter night”,Living like an hurricane”etc, tell me a single song that it isn t killer,It’s impossible.13/10!

From: lalorock Date: December 27, 2006 at 15:15
AOR heaven, sería lo que definiría a esta muñeca, temas hiper melódicos, claro que le falta un poco de fuerza pero no esta nada mal para mi gusto, canciones con ese gancho de teclados y melodías que te envuelven, Together we´re lost,Line of fire,Hurting so bad, Last call for love,Heavenly todas excelentes y moldeadas para la voz de terciopelo de Erika, gran album, 9/10.

From: KurtmanJP Date: November 18, 2008 at 16:29
Poppy, but still great stuff. Almost has a Siren/Red Siren feel to it but also reminds me of Canadian acts Lisa Lougheed, Zahalan or a female-fronted version of Boulevard. My fave songs are "Together We're Lost" "Cold Winter Night" and "Emergency".

From: rick kerch vzla Date: February 23, 2011 at 20:01
Poppy Aor album...nice songs, enjoyable but probably i agree with Rafo Phoenix...no so outstanding, being a nice album tough..."Together We're Lost"(nice),"Line Of Fire"(catchy),"Cold Winter Night","Emergency" and the bonus track "Super Sonic City"(pretty poppy and catchy, ideal to dance )are my favorites...good looking woman???...YES!!!.88/100
