Great album with power guitars hooks & strong vocals.

I have to admit I am pretty disappointed with this one. It's not too bad, but pretty average all the way through until the killer 'Before I Close My Eyes'. Great melodic rocker. But otherwise, there are no hard rockers to tear your face off like there were on the first two CDs. To me, it was just average bluesy hard rock.

Finally got it the other day. Oni's voice sounds great, of course he has been resting it for a long time. George's playing is awesome. The songs are all pretty good. The hooks aren't really that catchy though. It is definitely better than the Souls of We.

Out of all of the new cd's I've picked up lately, this one is the best of them all. I have the new Winger, Wig Wam, and Ratt. What I like about Smoke and Mirrors is they didn't try and remake Wicked Sensation. There are certainly hints of the old stuff though. I think 21st Century Man is River of Love with different lyrics. The songs are pretty wide ranging. I've let a few people borrow it and got back nothing but positive remarks.

new release by LYNCH MOB and its a quite good one.the sound is excellent hard rockin, oni sounds better than ever and george s playing is plain and solid.i expected more of the songs though to be more catchy.standout tracks are "21 st century man","smoke &mirrors","lucky man" and "before i close my eyes".overall is one of the best releases of 2009 but not as great as expected from the mighty hair metal giants LYNCH MOB

I kinda slagged this one off when it came out and didn't give it a fair shake.Last few months ive spun it alot and man there is alot to like here.1,8,12 & 13 rock.A focused George is a good George. Some filler here, but overall pretty solid.Oni's vox sound great on this.

From: cyclope59 Date: December 20, 2011 at 12:44
Have to agree with Metal T. I also let this release slide and paid no attention due to the mental disturbs George has been having finding his true identity. Last month I bought it because I had notjhing else to buy and I kind of digged the album. There are fillers fo sure and the hooks seem kind of missing but overall it is a good album. I love the first four tracks and the last three tracks and track 8. So out of 13 tracks about 8 - 9 tracks will really make the deal. George plays very nice but do not expect any Back for the Attack. I think Oni seals the deal in this one. Descent return.
