Straight heavy metal with high pitch vocal and a good guitar work, outstanding in some of the songs.

UN CLASSICO DELL'HARD SVIZZERO

Amazing! Gotthard, Shakra, XYZ, mixed with George Lynch style solos and amazing vocals. Just the kind of music I love. Not one bad song on this CD and the production is excellent Shame the band went all Nu style after this.

I bought this one off ebay without ever hearing and samples and boy was I surprised. I really enjoy this cd. Great music and vocals = excellent hard rock album. The comparisons above to early Gotthard and Shakra are spot on. Recommended.

Bin wirklich Stolz das Schweizer solche Musik machen können. Kaufen Kaufen.

From: Kip Date: August 29, 2004 at 3:10
Very tight hard rock melodies. Fist pounding, in your face, intensity throughout, except for the mellow tracks Rain and Inside Pressure, which take away from the album's overall feel. These guys obviously couldn't write a ballad. But they could rock! Liscense To Touch, Back On Track and Blood Justice are great tunes, and Little Girl Don't Talk Too Much is a real gem of a song. One of my favorites of all time. Recommended album 7.5/10

From: Geoff Date: August 29, 2004 at 21:30
Good solid heavy rock release. As noted, reminds me of heavier Gotthard and also Shakra. A good, consistent release with nothing to really frown about at all. I like it.

From: z4roxx Date: January 14, 2005 at 20:38
What a solid and very good band from Suisse!!In my opinion 10,000 times better than Motley Crue...8/10

From: Zinatra99gt Date: February 18, 2005 at 17:39
Great cd, but correct me if I am wrong. To me this sounds like Sammy Hagar when he was with Van Halen. I love this! Song two is really off the hook. Just think Van Halen with bigger balls. The lead singer is awesome. Thats why I liked Sammy Hagar with Van Halen rather than with David Lee Roth. I am not saying that Roth is a bad singer, but i thats just my opinion. Anyway, two thumbs up. Adios.

From: rockinmyassoff Date: February 18, 2005 at 21:02
Hey Zinatra..good call on the comparison. I also think there are several times where the singer sounds just like Sammy Hagar. As I mentioned last June, this is a great rocking album. It gets a regular rotation in my mp3 player, especially while working out at the gym (along with McQueen Street - s/t, Shotgun Messiah - Second Coming & Eyes - s/t). Recommended for hard rock lovers. Cheers!

"Rain" one of the many all time killer songs by Status Quo. A crying shame this band aint on this site. Their first albums like Hello, Quo, On the Level, Blue for You, Live!, Rocking all over the world, Whatever you want and Just Supposin' are still 2 date unsurpassed and untouchable. Unique band. STATUS QUO

From: BIG-TIME Date: November 18, 2006 at 21:22
WHAT an album from START TO FINISH I loved it, very similar to Saint's and Sinner's heavy crunchy rife's great singing it's got it all. If you like early 90's rock like Hardline, SNS, Slam St Joan, you must get this...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

From: Chad Date: December 31, 2006 at 1:27
A very good album by this band that I had never heard of or even heard a buzz about. They have the Shakra sound down and throw in a bit of Sinner. A very nice combination and I am glad that my ears have taken in this album. I have spun it quite a few times since I have acquired it. I am sure I will listen to it more in the future too. Check it out yourself. It is a good slab of German rock even though they may not be German.

From: Blue Tequila Date: August 20, 2008 at 13:03
If you like Eyes s/t album, you will like this release for sure!

From: BIG-TIME Date: August 21, 2008 at 9:36
Eyes S/T nah that was more pop commercial rock this is hard rock like Hardline Saints and Sinners, Guardian that real heavy guitar driven sound not commercial rock...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

Great Hard Rock album with edgy songs, good choruses and first of all with a very skilled vocalist!!!...an album that is really an enjoyable one and basically a must have...my faves are "Licence To Touch","Girls Are On Fire","Manhunt","Little Girl Don't Talk Too Much"(great!) & "Back On Track"(kick a**)...almost essential IMHO...94/100

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: February 17, 2012 at 12:27
Great Hard & Heavy! Totally agree with my friend Rick! "Blood Justice (my fav), Licence to Touch, Manhunt, Little Girl Don't Talk Too Much, Back On Track & Rain" fav. tracks, Essential album of course! 90/100.

From: 123charpenay Date: September 24, 2012 at 12:23
if you mix acdc, shakra (first record) and gotthard (first records)the result is mud slick.this band have the traditional trademarks of swiss hard rock bands.a great singer who have a big mouth, big guitars ,big sound(sound s drum is excellent),a super production(strong and clear)and of course very very great songs who hooked you at the first spin.the ice on the cake they have the genius idea to cover "rain" the best statu s quo song with her fabulous guitar riff.no bonus on the japan import.

From: MrMetal Date: June 13, 2014 at 9:33
While I agree with some of the comparisons above, I also heard influences of both Kip Winger & Jeff Scott Soto in Ronnie's vocal deliveries. Sadly the band started going south by adding modern elements into their music after this recording. They also had a handful of lineup changes with Dan leaving after this release & Serge taking on both bass & guitar duties. Heinz Baumann replaced Buddy on drums & they would later add bassist Pete Snow & guitarist Stephen Schmid. They also supported WARRANT & DUFF MCKAGAN in the States although I'm not sure how that came about. Fans of alot of the Jeff Scott Soto projects as well as a heavier version of WINGER should definitely look into this although I believe it's gonna cost a pretty penny.
