Purrrrrfect album. They keep improving themselves with each album. Within the AOR genre it doesnot get much better then this. AWESOME ! 9,5 / 10.

From: TIM (2) Date: January 14, 2005 at 7:45
If I could choose any band to release 2 albums in one year, it would be Final Frontier. And they've improved things; the production for one. And the vocals are magnificent, as are the lyrics. One or two fillers still, and I still think they have an absolute killer album left in them, but songs like "Hollywood Drama" and the magnificent "Listen to your Heart" are just the type of pure AOR heaven that I live and breathe for. 9/10.

Hmm. . ., good album, but not as good a expected. Certainly not a match for the two superb AOR albums from 2004 Outland and POL, and even Over The Edge, Stan Bush, Shadows Fade and Asia are better than this one. But, as said before : good, but the production lacks a bit of power !

From: MelodicMan Date: January 17, 2005 at 15:49
I rate it higher than AOR freaky. IMO it is exactly what we expect, a very good AOR album, Journey-ish from the begining till the end. I like Rob Moratti vocals, the productions is better than previous albums, and songs like "Two Different Worlds", "Listen To Your Heart" and specially "Hearts On Fire" make us feel that 2005 will be a great year for us, AOR fans.

From: Swriter Date: February 1, 2005 at 18:34
very good album, but, I heard The Second Wave and it blew me away, great production, vocals and songs and a rare release that comes along that I can not get enough of. High Tension Wire did not hit me as hard as The Second Wave and listened to back to back, the production seems a bit weaker. Still a very solid release from this great band, no need to pick songs, just great throughout. I hear influences of Styx, Journey, and TNT. Great music is back!!!

From: koogles Date: February 4, 2005 at 18:23
Agreed with the above. Good CD- no question about it- but lacks that one standout, powerhouse chorus. "The First Wave" had it with "The Last to Know". On "The Second Wave", it was "Somebody's Gotta Pay The Price". This CD just doesn't have an equal to those monster tracks. Don't get me wrong- great CD... in fact, Rob Moratti sounds more like Steve Perry on this one than any other. And I love Journey!! "Who's Gonna Love You Now" reminds me of "Lovin Touchin Squeezin"... bluesy AOR perfection!

From: rocky Date: March 22, 2005 at 8:57
this is THE perfect AOR / Melodic rock album, the songs, the music, the mixing, the production,...everything is perfect....."KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK".

From: AOR freaky Date: March 22, 2005 at 14:27
Good production ???????????? Not so, I'm afraid ! I like this band a lot, but it's not as good as I expected and the production is rather weak !

This is really good. I loved the first two releases, and this one doesn't dissapoint either. 'High Tension Wire' and 'Two Different Worlds' kick things off in fine fashion, and the others keep up a very high standard. The production is fine ,not a million dollar one, but as good as their previous releases and on par with most releases of this type. The Euro release has a different bonus track, swapping 'Half Way home' for 'Let Me Be The One'. Another top quality AOR release by this fine band.

From: Lennie Date: April 13, 2005 at 14:40
To compare Rob Moratti with Steve Perry is a joke! He sounds like he's got his balls stuck in a vice!!! And the choruses are like singalong with the smurfs!!!! Good music but the vocal is so annoying. If you want a half decent version of Journey, try Departure's 'Corporate Wheel'......ho hum

From: mattboy71 Date: April 15, 2005 at 14:55
I agree, Moratti's voice takes a little getting used to, but their songs are fun and good while driving in the car. "Hearts On Fire" is a carbon copy of Journey's "Stone In Love."

From: Geoff Date: July 24, 2005 at 19:18
Got to agree with Lennie too. Not a huge fan of the vocals, but I've always liked this band anyway. Much better production and sound this time round, but where are the gems like 'Last to know' or 'Faithfull heart'? Those two songs blew my mind and although 'Two different worlds', 'Hollywood drama' and 'Listen to your heart' are all very good, none of them are stunning, and there are some fillers here too, quite a few actually. Easily their weakest release, but nice AOR anyway.

Wow can this guy sing! every time he opens his mouth to sing I wanna grab my big teddy bear and start sucking my thumb like a baby. Personally, I think 'Listen To Your Heart' is one fo the more average tracks here. The big three for me are 'High Tension Wire, 'Sunset At Dawn' and the album monster, 'Beauty and the Beast'. That song is just brilliant from beginning to end. Also good are 'Two Different Worlds', 'Angel of the Lake', 'Hollywood Drama' and 'Something More To This' Great CD! 9/10

From: z4roxx Date: March 2, 2007 at 12:50
Ehehe this one is another great one,for me at the same level as"Second wire"even If I prefer this one for the production.BTW I think the last one it's their best even if a little more generic as melodick lines.

From: rbrigade Date: November 21, 2008 at 9:01
Awful voice! I can't this band seriously with such a singer...He is almost as bad as the italian guy from Myland, haha. Such a pitty cause the music isn't bad at all...but with so many high ratings obviously the band will never improve...

From: z4roxx Date: November 23, 2008 at 10:13
I am partially agree with the guy above about Rob Moratti's voice:he's too high.If you like the Cheepmanks brothers you'll love Moratti, too ahahahah!

From: gooup Date: April 15, 2010 at 13:46
Great stuff!

From: gypsymoth Date: September 28, 2010 at 5:25
eeehh! My ears!...Too high and too sharp!..Have to choose Tony harnell over Mr.Moratti.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: March 10, 2013 at 19:08
Without being a bad album is the least interesting of them in my book.Ok,nice songs obviously as these guys display quality songs but perhaps it was way too "soft"...in fact the album is plagued with mid tempos and softies that support my statement...tracks 2,3,4,6,8,10 & 11 are the ones that caught my attention in here...80/100

From: 123charpenay Date: March 11, 2013 at 12:31
totally agree with you rick.i add only one thing the voice of the singer is too much high pitched and after several spins it s boring and i need some aspirin.i ve selling all my final frontier s records on e bay.i don t keep any final frontiers album in my collection.
