Strange band. Some of their tracks are outstanding. And many are just a waste of time.

Greatest band on earth, EVER. But this is not their best yet, listen to their debut, the best record EVER and my all time number one ! Great Dane, this is CLASSIC stuff! Above all competition !!! A standard in music !!!!!

Often described as 'the best undiscovered band in America'. I DON'T THINK SO! Oh, yeah, they say that it's not their falt that record sale were never big. huh? I guess it's the falt of all the bands that were BETTER than you! Anyway, their a melodic/hard rock band that liked to rip-off Deep Purple (maybe that's why you guys never made it!). The band got it's name from the infamous 1930's gangster, Jack 'Legs' Diamond. The band was founded in 1972 by bassist Michael Gargano and drummer Jeff Poole

All you really need to read here is Great Dane's comment, as it short, direct and to the very correct (IMO) point. I enjoy some very good melodic moments of this CD, but there are also some awful songs. A lot of keyboards, a decent sound but very patchy. Worth checking out for AOR fans.

GREATTT!!!

Can't believe some of the comments listed here. Legs Diamond are a bit like the curates egg but when they're good they're absolutely FANTASTIC !! This is mid period Legs and two albums that very nearly broke the band.Fugitive was a big record in Germany I seem to remember. Grade A hard rock with melodies to die for and keyboards from AOR heaven.

Good double album on one cd. Out on Bail was the stronger release. On Land of the Gun they went for a more polished radio friendly sound but it's still good.

I own the "Land Of The Gun" on vinyl which i bought back in the day and almost grabbed the "Out On Bail" one...so i decided to buy(i did a long time ago)this double shot...and i think it was a good idea..."Land Of..." is my fave album out of the two eyes closed...in here well i recommend tracks 5,6,8,9,10,11,12,13( ),15 & 18...90/100
