This one did absolutely nothing for me.

From: PauloFernandes Date: September 28, 2003 at 18:59
Let me be the first to disagree - While its not among my favorite cds, this is still a pretty good indie and surely a worth addition to any collection - Fave tracks -> 2,7,8,10

From: purrfect-kat Date: September 28, 2003 at 22:27
This is a CD to crank Up with the windows down . . There are some very Cool tunes on this cd and I would recommend it to anyone who loves that hair band style of music. . . . K.K Wilde Rocks!!

From: tomcat Date: September 29, 2003 at 19:21
and my favorite tune is 'she's got the blues'..very cool cd

From: M. Allen Date: September 30, 2003 at 14:33
In the pantheon of expensive, sought-after hair-metal indies, this one ranks up towards the top thanks to catchy hooks, sing-along choruses, & big backing vocals. It doesn't do anything overly original, content instead to take all the expected glam-metal elements & deliver them well. If creativity is your cup of tea, then this band may be too formulaic for you, but most fans of the genre should be quite impressed by how well K.K. WILDE rocks.

From: purrfect-kat Date: October 1, 2003 at 9:58
I respect everyone's opinion and know one person may like a cd and another may not. . I myself like a certain style of music that has a distint catchy sound with cool chorus's to it. . K.K Wilde has that sound I like and even tho every song is not a standout, There is some that are EXCELLENT and people who share the same music interests as myself would really like this band. . . (continued)

From: purrfect-kat Date: October 1, 2003 at 10:00
This is why when I read feedback at this site I look for certain peoples comments like M.Allens etc. because we have an appreciation for alot of the same kind of music.

From: purrfect-kat Date: October 1, 2003 at 10:27
Reading feedback at Heavy Harmonies can be a little tricky at times because everyone's expectations of a cd may be different. . Whenever I read feedback from someone who doesn't like bands that I feel are good such as Fifth Angel with the amazing tunes 'Broken Dreams, So Long' etc.. then I usually do the opposite and buy everything they don't like . . lol

From: TheRipper Date: October 1, 2003 at 16:54
Tim, I'd probably cry myself to sleep after I just made a mess on myself if anybody roasted all my CD's! Haha! This is yet another one of those that Tim and I disagree on, I really dig it. It's got a big sound to me, and although a tad cliche at times it's good in an original way (if that makes sense?). I compare these guys to Heartless, similar styles to me...

From: TIM Date: October 1, 2003 at 17:10
To be honest, I like Heartless better. Sorry, I think this one is totally unoriginal.

From: TheRipper Date: October 1, 2003 at 17:34
Standouts to me are: 'Ain't No Doubt', 'Queen of the Angels', 'Stand Up', 'She's Got the Blues', and 'Raise A Little Hell'.

From: purrfect-kat Date: October 1, 2003 at 17:51
Tim I was teasin ya and as for the message boards go, I have no interest in them . .the sucking up part? . . . That's funny cuz I have never asked him for anything and actually have most of the cds on his want list so maybe he should suck up to me? . . haha . . (sorry M.Allen I couldn't resist). . . When I get spare time which isn't often these days, I like reading the descriptions of bands I have never heard of before and I must say that some of the comments are hilarious at times. . bye 4 now

From: TheRipper Date: October 1, 2003 at 19:19
Oh, I forgot 'Boys Night Out' too. Good one. Little Warrant feel to that one for me, which is always a plus

From: M. Allen Date: October 2, 2003 at 15:49
Kat & I agree on some CDs, but others she likes I wouldn't let my dog use for a frisbee. AOR? In my book, it stands for Allen Only Rejects. But varying opinions make this site go 'round, so it's cool. I agree Heartless is a touch better than KK WILDE, but both are excellent indies. For the record, Kat & I have never done any business (or pleasure..heheheh) together, so she certainly wasn't sucking up. But Kat, whenever you want to give up those rare ones, you just let me know...

From: vandervelde Date: November 20, 2003 at 18:46
This is good cd, however nowhere near to perfection. For me it's not worth 66 bucks. But if you can find it like i am for 15 bucks it's a good deal. Best songs Ain't no doubt, Queen of the angels and ballad One night(i know this melody from elsewhere but don't know from where) This cd is a deserved 7,5/10

From: stevescott Date: January 15, 2004 at 22:07
I played in this band from the beginning to the end. I just want to say that I'm thrilled that anyone even remembers this cd, and whether you liked it or not-thanks. We knew we weren't breaking new ground at the time, but I must say that we had more fun in the process of creating and performing this, and I wouldn't trade that for anything. Thanks, Steve

From: Date: January 15, 2004 at 22:42
Hey Steve if you got any copies left I would sure love to get one, you can reach me at BrianJ8173@aol.com. Thanks

From: MIKE S Date: February 13, 2004 at 10:39
Just saw the KK Wilde "Cocaine Cowboy" cd sell on ebay for $2,550.00!!!!!UNBELIEVABLE!! Looks like the rarities page has a new top dog...

From: TIM Date: February 13, 2004 at 12:22
It really shouldn't be. If two people hadn't fought over it, it would have been $400 at most. Tons of great cds you could get for that price. It won't be top dog either unless someone has all the information to submit it. If Steve or anyone else wishes to provide it- please feel free. If it is not submitted soon, the auction will be too old for the system to pick up and the price will not show. I've got the picture, year, and label, but that's it. Need tracks, artists, etc..

From: TIM Date: February 13, 2004 at 12:25
Also need label, catalogue number, and instruments artists played if available. The averages are taken every 3 months I believe. If it isn't time to regenerate them, then that price will be lost. We can not manually program prices- wish we could.

From: mel Date: February 13, 2004 at 22:08
kowkaine kowboy is non other than rock n roll witha different title and cover from what i know

From: skippin1@hotmai Date: February 15, 2004 at 2:41
I can't believe it!!! Cocaine Cowboy really does exist? I've been looking for this CD for years, but I was always thinking it was just a fluke. Does anyone know if this really does exist? I can't pay $2550 for it but I'd die to have this in my collection! I love KK Wilde!

From: M. Allen Date: February 15, 2004 at 19:36
Mel is right, "Cocaine..." is the same as "Rock N Roll," just retitled & with a new cover. Even the song order is the same. So yeah, it's rare, but not worth $2550 (what is?). Maybe if it was all brand new KK WILDE songs someone could justify that sort of dough, but the bottom line is, some fool with more dollars than sense forked over a small fortune for some inserts. Wonder if they realized the songs are the same as "Rock N Roll?" If not, bet they'll be pissed...

From: mel Date: February 16, 2004 at 6:51
mr allen, how are you, good to see your agreement, melodicrockoz@yahoo.com

From: bishoprocker@ya Date: February 17, 2004 at 21:37
I have (or had) both CDs by KK Wilde and I played them to death. I can tell you that they are not the same music. The second one was more progressive and I actually liked it better. I just hope I can find it. If some idiot will pay $2500 - I'll live with a copy!

This CD has only left my player briefly since getting it 2 days ago. Big,memorable sing-along choruses abound here. What these guys lacked in originality, they made up 4 by putting out a just plain AWESOME rock n roll record.I guess if I had to pick favorites,I'd say that "Rock n Roll","Queen of the Angels",& "She's Got the Blues" are the stand-outs for me.I'd recommend this CD to ANYONE who is a fan of 80s style hard rock.Whether it's searching eBay,or hitting the trading block, grab a copy quick!

From: jessica96fish Date: October 27, 2004 at 2:31

From: POSER Date: December 27, 2004 at 21:27
Yeah! Is it good or bad? Remind to what band? PLease somebody to answer these questions...

From: Geoff Date: January 17, 2005 at 5:42
This is a good one that lives up to a lot of the hype. Whilst not brilliant, this is very good commercial hard rock, with a good solid sound. 'Inside out' is a fave, but fans of hard rock are going to enjoy this anyway. Good solid stuff.

From: Erik Date: January 19, 2005 at 3:16
I so agree with purrfect-kat. Just turn it up loud and you can feel summer coming

From: z4roxx Date: January 19, 2005 at 18:16
Not bad this band but nothin'special for me.Overrated cd,IMO.(IMO means"in my opinion"?)Maybe I am a genius to be an italian with few english approach!ahahaha!!

From: Studboy Date: July 13, 2005 at 22:32
I have listened to this CD several times now and cannot figure out for the life of me whats so special about it. The songs are absolutely forgettable to me. Yes they can play but the songs are so blah. This is definitely one of the most overrated indies I've ever heard.

From: stryper Date: July 20, 2005 at 10:19
HEY STUDBOY.!!!!!try out audio mob.one of the best indie around.also try ice water mansion.just like dokken.top album!!!!!

From: Studboy Date: August 25, 2005 at 21:38
OK, I'm gonna eat my words on my first review. I found myself getting the tunes on this CD stuck in my head and have made a complete 180 degree change on this CD. It took me a while but this has turned out to be one of my favorite CDs actually. I'm glad I picked it up. I'd give it an 8 out of 10. Hey Stryper, I actually own the Ice Water Mansion and Audio Mob CDs, I agree both are great.

From: glamjunkie Date: February 8, 2006 at 21:39
I've had 3 listens to this one and still for the life of me cannot why this cd demands $70 on the market. My bet is $65 for the priveldge of owning the cd and $5 for the actual cd itself. IMO, both the music and the song writing are weak. I've heard much better on cds pulled from a $2 bargain bin. Sorry.... 3/10.

From: DazBuFF Date: August 2, 2006 at 3:22
i got this cd for free from one of the band members...he was surfing and found it on my webpage as a wanted cd. thanks again steve g. just to let the fans know, he told me that the band had a lot of songs recorded after cocaine cowboy but never did release any of them. please go to suncity records and talk to the guys over there about getting these released...... dale

From: Japangea Date: July 14, 2015 at 22:06
Nice beginning.

From: hair metal again Date: July 23, 2020 at 12:55
excellent hair metal indie for KK WILDE that needs 1 or 2 spins to get into it as it has many hooks almost in every note and it requires a lot of attention!ays commercial and rockin this is a killer indie with sensational guitar work and great ballads and anthemic rockers as well!highly recommended

From: Auslander Date: May 26, 2023 at 2:45
Just picked up a signed 2022 FNA Remaster of this album. Well, it's damn good! If you are into catchy tunes with great BGVs, you will eat this up. Having not heard the original release, I can't confirm the strength of the remaster or not. It sounds a bit "thin" to me sometimes. But that isn't unusual for the time. For an indie, it sounds great. With the strength of the songs I am a little surprised they weren't picked up by a major label. Reminds me of Def Leppard a fair bit especially on tracks like East Side West Side Girls. Strange sequencing in my view as many of the best tracks are at the back half of the album. It's very good. If this album was released now, we'd all think it was the best thing since sliced bread. Either way, I'm happy to have this B+ album in my collection.
