| Boysvoice were a great German band from Munich who reared their heads out of the late great 80's hard rock scene. Riding on the back of success of countrymen Bonfire and Victory, the band nodded their musical hats in their general direction; in particular the Claus Lessman styled vocals and the chainsaw guitar of both Gruber and Diezel paying homage to the likes of Hans Ziller. Throw in there some Dalton ('Injection' era) influences, albeit without the keyboards, and you're in the firing line.

| Tipico disco de banda alemana Hard Rockera de un nivel mas o menos correcto,como sucede en casi todas las bandas europeas no consiguen lograr ese sentido del swing tan tipico de las bandas americanas pero por contra sus riffs son bastante mas marcados y los coros mas espectaculares y poderosos que los de las bandas yankees (generalmente...)Hombre sin tener temas de aquellos memorables si que es cierto que una gran parte de este disco se mueve en unos niveles aceptables.NO ESTA MAL.

| Boysvoice will finish the mastering of their comeback album "Serenity" during the coming week. The album will mark the return to the band's classic 80's style and be released on Escape Music during the summer.

| This release is pretty decent - the voclaist sounds a bit like Klaus Meine of the SCORPIONS, but then again, who doesn't from Germany anymore? It also reminded me of listening to some BONFIRE. It could've been a bit catchier for my liking, but there are some great tracks here - "Cold Summer Nights" being my favorite. 7 out of 10.

| Boy, this is some really good melodic hard rock. As other have remarked, the lead singer sounds similar to Claus Lessman (Bonfire) and Klaus Meine (Scorpions), and the overall style is slick, polished melodic hard rock with plenty of hooks and a plethora of big backing vocals. Maybe not worth selling your offspring into slavery in order to obtain a copy, but definitely worth picking up somewhere along the way. Bottom line, this is really good stuff, but that's just me voicing my opinion...

| Melodic Hard rock jewel from Germany. Good to know that Love Stealer which is a killer anthem is a cover from Ian Lloyd from his LP Goose Bumps. Don't lose the opportunity to grab this disc : 9,8/10 !!!

Wow, some very  tracks here! "Different noises", "Love stealer" & "Happy birthday" are my favourites amongst some other very strange tracks as "Bad Boys". What the f*** they threw in to record the beginning of that track??? 8,2/10 (only 'cos normally I don't like that 'dirty' rock that much)

| Hardrock con mucha caña y buenas melodías, el voceras emparentado a la voz de Klaus Meine por momentos, excelente producción y super-coros que es lo mejor del disco. "Searching For You" es la diferente del disco, una balada Semi-Acústica que recuerda horrores a los Damn Yankees, y "Cold Summer Night" temazo!. De las Fuertonas pues "Different Noises", "Love Stealer"(Vaya caña, la mejor sin dudas) "BoysVoice" y "Chain Reaction" los mejores. Son 11 temas + un outro y 2 bonus. Muy buen Disco. 8.6/10

| MANI GRUBER, JOCHEN MAYER, PETER DIEZEL and ALEX HOETZINGER have mutually agreed to close the chapter "BOYSVOICE". Bassplayer JOCHEN MAYER: "We will still be workin' together (in one or the other way), but not as the band BOYSVOICE anymore. We think that it's time to focus on new musical challenges. Thanks to all our fans and friends who made it possible for us to release our last album SERENITY.

TSad to hear the band is o longer but having said that his cd smokes from start to finish. Very similar to Bonfire's early works. Only have cdr version so now i need the original. Will get it some way or another. Fantastic guitarplaying btw on this album. Good depth in the songs. Killer and must have album. 3Wishes should listen to this album and then they will find out what the are missing and can step in the BV footsteps  . Instantly hooking songs. Easy 9,2/10

| "Boys Voice y City Of Your Dreams" mi favorita del albun que buenos temas con un stylo de Hard rock'n'Roll y con unos sonidos de guitarras intensos que lo hace mas agradable un albun con cortes muy alegres, que buen trabajo full rock'n'Roll para rato a disfrutar de esta buena musica...

It has some Bonfire feel in the songs but poppier IMO...Mani Gruber sounds like Claus Lessmann(Bonfire lead vocalist) and probably that is why people connect both bands right away...happy songs such as "Different Noises","BoysVoice" & "Bad Boys" of catchy terms will put a smile in your face and most likely you'll end up singing the choruses along while listening the album...personally my faves are "City Of Your Dreams","Cold Summer Nights" & "Rock You"...enjoyable and somehow...way too sticky  ...85/100

| excellent debut for BOYSVOICE with a massive commercial hard rock sound that we all love!great guitars ,big choruses and backing vocals along with great melodic lines make the music flowing easily!"love stealer","boysvoice","munich nightlife" and "city of your dreams " are great songs indeed!a must have
