I like From the fire, always have since i heard the debut back in the day so obviously i was very much looking forward to hearing this one. Songs such as Leave Me Alone and Stagefright I heard in demo form many years back so to an extent i knew kinda what to expect. The aforementioned tunes are goodies but there are a few fillers on here. The vocals and the playing are top notch though, especially Joe Kelly's vocals, which although sounding a little gruffer and deeper are still really really good and strong. Tommy Lafferty's guitar shines through without being overblown in any way, just really nice sounding. Into Your Heart is a really cool ballad with Kelly in top form, and title song Evil Men Do is a truly great rock tune. Never Been Lonely is pretty much everything an AOR fan could wish for. Once again Joe Kelly is in astounding form on a song that has a chorus you'll be singing for a long time. The album is beautifully produced too so all in all a really strong and good comeback.
