Oh man, just arrive my order today and just today post this one! This is a Must and my Favorite album of this year! I love Jim's voice! Great Melodic Rock/AOR indeed. Great production, good lyrics, great sound. Can't talk about anything bad about this beautiful CD. You make my day Guys with this album. Oh yeah, my favorite songs are "Look At Us Know" "Liar, Liar" "In Love We Trust" "Wildheart" and the list goes on... 95/100

This is what we can call a great come back after 9 years of silence!!!...the mighty and one of the best AOR acts in Europe has landed with a very fantastic release, keeping a mix of an old traditional AOR style with a modern touch but not too pronounced so it has kept the essence of the band indeed..."Unbroken","Summer Of Love","What Goes Up"(catchy chorus),"I'm A Fighter" & "Burning Heart" are my faves...this album surely is more than a recommended one...93/100

Don't forget guys, Buying this CD because it's the album of the year. I can't stop to listen it since got to my hands. "I'm a Fighter" is AOR from Heaven! As the whole CD. 95/100 :P :P :P

What a wonderful album! The disc has Journey written all over it, especially their greatest album Raised on Radio comes to mind constantly. Throw some Survivor in the mix (Summer of Love) and the anthem synths in What Goes Up are straight from Le Roux´ alley, i love it! Just like juan carlos, i like the b-side a bit more but it´s excellent stuff basically from the start to finish. I also like the sound of the cd so the original lineup does amazing job in every way. Highly recommended!

i never was fan of this band ,but there is several months ,i was very impress by the sample of "what goes up "on melodic rock.so i decide to order this cd.receive it today in japan import.with three bonus tracks.this record is for fans of journey or departure "corporate wheel".alien play a very melodic and very clean a o r.ok nothing new under the sun,ok this record is not a hard rock record but this album is really excellent.a top class a o r realise.a little masterpiece in his genre.track 6 "what goes up "is the song of the year.the rest is very solid and very consistant.only good song, even if track 4 and 12 are too soft for me and a little boring at my taste.the japan import is a priority.track 13 is a very short message from the singer.absoluty no interest.track 15 "eternity" is a very boring instrumental, in the vein of pink floyd.if you want sleep.....but the ice on the cake is track 14 "ready to fly" an exceptional, a fantastic ballad mi tempo.a real hit.for the song of the year

Hello juan carlos my friend.the best song of 2014 is "READY TO FLY" japan bonus track on eternity album from alien.

From: titothetitan Date: October 19, 2017 at 15:23
'Ready to Fly' is a single released in 2010 to promote their reunion.

I'm a huge fan of this band and for years I waited anxiously the moment were the original line-up would reunite again and release a new album in the same style of the debut. I'm very satisfied with the result, but there are some things that bother me a bit. Jim's voice sounds a bit out of tune in the chorus (could it be lost in the mix?) of some songs. And in most of the songs he always starts saying "whoo oh, oh!". The album cover uses a cheap photoshop montage and borrows some elemements from the debut in the cheapest way possible. The japanese release indludes the awesome 'Ready to Fly' single and some pointless instrumentals e introductions. Nevertheless, this is a great album and the best one after the debut.

Hello again 123charpenay. Track 7 'Im A Fighter' is a song written by Barlow/Minto in the middle 80's and was originally sang by Mark Free.

What 9 YEARS can make a difference huh?!! 2005 when Dark Eyes came out almost EVERYONE blasted that cd saying the band is "done".."was my final last straw" etc... were the masses saying about it. Those SAME people are NOW saying 9 years later "the band is back"..."best one since the 1st one"..etc..LOL I actually like some of Dark Eyes but YES this cd is much better. I love Jim's voice. Him and Jimi Jamison are 2 of my favorite singers. Favorite tracks are 1,2,3,4,5,6.7.10.14

Hi MelodicMetal4Ever, in the 'Dark Eyes' case we didn't have the original line-up back, only two of the original members returned and clearly were taking the band into another direction. It seems that with 'Eternity' they learnt the lesson, brought back the missing members and remained true to the style which make them famous. I liked the album a lot but Jim's voice is no longer the same and sometimes he seems to have the flu.
