I've always wondered about this one. Until recently, didn't realize it was Jim Jidhed. It normally went for $33 or so, but a seller put Jim (Jidhed) on it and it is currently $115 or more. I guess not many knew it was the former Alien vocalist? I'm sure it's good- anyone agree or disagree?

This is a solid AOR album, if you like the first Alien album,I think you gonna like this one too. It's not as good as the first Alien album but, 'All i want is you', These are the good times(same song who appears on the Eric Martin - I'm only foolin myself album),Don't lose any sleep(also a cover),You must tell her, Wild young & free and Heart to heart...are all really good AOR tracks!!Good production too!

Sorry to disagree, but this is fantastic stuff. Better than his follow-up 'Full Circle' album (which itself was excellent), this is truly one of the best scandi releases and beats even the first Alien CD. His version of 'Love Hurts' is slightly off, but Diane Warrens 'Don't Lose any Sleep' and Ole Evenrude's 'Wild, Young & Free' are magnificent. There are also Paul Young and Eric Martin tunes...

... and of course 'Silence is Golden', which you may recognise! This is rare, but worth every single penny you will have to pay for it. The best thing he's ever sung on, and an AOR classic no less.

Never fell for Alien, but this album is amazing! Stand outs for me are All I Want Is You and Heart To Heart.

Holy shit! Unbelievable, and probably the best 'older' melodic rock CD I've heard all year. Makes Jim's 2nd CD look like ear wax and is almost as good as the debut Alien CD - 100 times better than the rest of them. Almost every single track is sensational. Faves being 'All I Want Is You', 'These Are The Good Times', 'Don't Lose Any Sleep', 'You Must Tell Her', 'Heart To Heart', 'Dangerous' and 'Silence Is Golden'. Just a great CD, awesome sound too. Highly recommended!!!

Never heard it , but don't you guys just exaggerate a bit with 4 100s in the rating section? It is currently the highest-rated album here at HH! I just don't believe it is better than 9595 other CDs placed here.

Great CD indeed and worth tracking down.

AMAZING AOR ALBUM!! Now we are talking. This is the best Jim Jidhed album without any doubt, because his voice in this album shines, remains unaltered like the ALIEN days. And the style is simply beautiful, classic american AOR and really awesome songs: 'All I Want Is You' is something unreal as well as 'Donīt Lose Any Sleep' and 'You Must Tell Her' and the versions just shine with such an amazing and passioante interpretation by Jim. A Must Have Guys!

I got my copy too!! I have the Re-Issue album from NL Distribution and i have to say Wow What a Re-Issue!! Lyrics, Production, Beautiful Songs.. All is here. The bonus tracks are Awesome: 'Heartbreak' āla Mark Free, 'Miss Your Lovinī' this song reminds me of Alien first album(Brave New Love), 'Love Spins' ok Uptempo song and 'Woman Is The Hunter' that reminds me of Pet Shop Boys. Get your copy Now!! Thanxx NL.

excellent solo release for JIM JIDHED with a fantastic production and musicianship by the many musos (Swedish the most) involved!def a grower ,this one is very true to itself and to what Jim really still is musically speaking!"these are the good times","dangerous",'heart to heart" and "all i want is you " are great songs!great stuff here

From: titothetitan Date: September 29, 2020 at 16:43
It's not as strong as the Alien debut but it's a very good album with lots of catchy songs in it. Jim Jidhed is in his prime and never sounded like this again. 'Wild, Young & Free' was also recorded by Alien in 1989 with second singer Pete Sandberg and was relesead in the 'Best & Rare' compilation CD.
