I have to say that this is their best, followed by the 3rd and 4th albums. Killer album with high energy rock n roll

From: koogles Date: July 30, 2002 at 11:08
Grabs your balls and doesn't let go until the very end. A relentlessly good party album and proof that Helix could match AC/DC in the high voltage/good times department. Brian and the boys really turned it up that extra notch for this balls-out round of decadent hell-raising the likes of which I hadn't heard since "Back in Black".

Man this album Rocks! Just wish Vollmer would re-release it like he has done with several other Helix albums. My advice is if you find it, buy it because you will not be disappointed.

This one's their best. Their cover of Nazareth's "Dream On" should have been a big hit. Its a great power ballad.

Pretty good stuff here with "Love Hungry Eyes", She's Too Tough", and "Kiss it Goodbye" being the highlights for me...I didn't really care for the "Dream On" cover...Rock On!!!

From: purrfect-kat Date: September 15, 2003 at 15:11
HELIX ROCKS!! . . . I don't think "Dream on" is anyone else's song but their own. . . I wonder if the title is being confused with Aerosmith's tune . . .(2 different songs completely) . . As far as I know the Classic Hit "Dream On" never made it on Helix's Best of cd and this is one of the reasons this CD sells for $20 and up.

From: Gar Date: September 18, 2003 at 17:08
"Dream On" is indeed a cover song. It was originally done by Nazareth on their 1982 album "2XS". Both bands' versions are great, but I actually prefer the Helix remake.

From: Edward Date: November 20, 2003 at 11:34
DREAM ON appears in their best of: cd. Are you talking about the DEEP CUTS album? That's their greatest hits album.

From: holyroller Date: January 24, 2004 at 23:43
My fave Helix disc, and I can see I'm not alone. Helix, by the way, have two best of discs, Deep Cuts (U.S. release) and ...Over 60 Minutes with Helix(Canadian release) with different track listings. "Wild In The Streets" is the best AC/DC tribute song that isn't a cover, and their version of the Joe Elliott-penned "She's Too Tough" walks all over Def Leppard's version (and I'm a Lep fan). Excellent party album, no make that excellent album, period.

this album rocks, yeah, wild in the streets, What Ya Bringin' to the Party, Love hungry eyes are my fav. Helix Rocks!

From: rene Date: February 14, 2006 at 15:14
Yeahh, the song DREAM ON is a cover song by NAZARETH. I have their 2xS album and that song is on. I realy love that song very much but i think the original version from 1982 is a little better.

From: underworld king Date: December 19, 2007 at 6:04
Not as strong as their previous releases but still a lot of good tunes. My favorites are tracks are 1,2,4 and 8. I didn't care much for this version of The Nazareth song Dream On. I guess I'm too used to the original.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: July 10, 2009 at 19:51
Undoubtebly "No Rest For The Wicked","Walkin' The Razor's Edge" & "Long Way To Heaven" are their best albums that's 4 sure or at least the ones that gave the band some recognition worldwide, this one "Wild In The Streets" has some good songs but is far away to be considered a must to have!!!..sorry...anyway "Wild In The Streets","What ya Bringin' To The Party" & "Love Hungry Eyes" are worth listening and the dull cover "Dream On"(originally by Nazareth,a Hard Rock/Melodic Rock band from Scotland)is kind of a filler in here.80/100

From: metalmaniac777 Date: March 12, 2010 at 13:55
One of those good-time, party-hearty, raise-some-hell kind of albums. Fans of straight-forward, unelaborate, no-frills 80s hard rock should go wilder than a gorilla in a banana plantation for this one. The sound is immediate and in-your-face, with a tough edge that somehow manages to sound both raw and polished at the same time. Lots of catchy hooks & rockin' riffs and just a fun, freewheelin' vibe. Back in the glory days of spandex and mousse-abuse hair, this is the kind of CD you would crank from the car stereo as you cruised the streets with the top down.

From: MelodicRocker Date: November 16, 2015 at 5:30
I totally agree, this is also a great album, even though a couple of fillers are on this one. Plenty of killers, as always with Helix, Wild in the streets, Never gonna stop the rock, High voltage kicks, and the fantastic AOR-ish Love hungry eyes! Capitol wanted a hit with "Dream on", unfortunately it wasn't, and sales disappointed. But Helix fans still loved them and they were the hardest working rock act of all, just amazing live.
