BRILLIANT 10/10.F*cking brilliant very good songs like a Conspiracy and superb song Stand Up.Very very good Melodic HR/little AOR.In Zeno Bormann suck but here brilliant.

Gran retorno. 8.8/10

Agree this is very good! One of the better solo vocalists in rock today. Sonic slab of AOR brilliance!!

I'm still not sure what to make of this one. Is it good? Yes. Is it as good as the last Jaded Heart CD, without Bormann? To be honest, no it isn't, IMO. 'Conspiracy' and 'Living Just a lie' are my favourite tracks and to be honest, most the tracks are pretty good. The problem is, there's just no real gems here, which is very, very unlike Bormann. A few songs relate to the split with his old band mates so it seems he's as disappointed by the split as I am. His output was much better in JH.

This is much better than his self titled album. It has a lot more depth and passion to it. There are even a few rocking tracks on this album unlike the S/T one. It does not measure up to Jaded Heart, Biss or Rain but it's a good album.

geoff, your comments are the first i look for when checking them. i think we like alot of the same stuff.but to say there are no jems? stand up is a jem!!imo.

From: Metalmusicman Date: December 29, 2006 at 20:49
While granted, there really are only three or four tracks that are just off the charts here, the rest of the disc is so consistant, that when it is done, you are still left saying "Man that was pretty damn good". "Conspiracy", "It's Only Physical", and "Ain't Just A Bit" are every bit as good as classic Jaded Heart. The deuet on "Two Of A Kind" is a refreshing little twist I didn't see coming. Still, just imagine if Jaded Heart stayed together. This combined with "Helluva Time"...OFF THE HOOK!!!

The biggest guarantee of this disc is Bormann´s hallmark. Incredible voice, beautiful melodies and the musicians are outstanding too. The album begins with "Conspiracy", which from the start show to us the quality inside this release. A part from the first one, "Stand Up", "No regrets", "Living just a Lie" and "Amazing" are my favourite songs. 9/10.

Not bad, just nothing that makes me wanna buy it.

'I remember the time...And I tell you now, it cuts like a knife...And so many nights and days you wait and pray, Nothing else matters anymore, You're full of hope, but your fear remains, You wanna know, what you don't know, You're going insane... ..There'll come a time, For the greatest thing on earth...I've never realized what this could do...And this is the time, You see my smiling face, I've left my sorrows all behind, And tears of luck are rolling down my face, 'Cause I didn't know, what I know, Back in time'. (Samirangel). ...try it with the music. Bye

another great release by mr BORMANN, in his melodic hard rock way.again we have big choruses, excellent hooks amd executive vocals but there is a lack of musicianship and personality in the whole result.highlights are "living just a lie","two of a kind" and "amazing".essential once again
