As most people know by now, this is the updated '667...Neighbour of The Beast' album, with the Eurovision 'In My Dreams' plus 'The Drop' added from the original. I raved before & will rave again, this is the best Scandie melodic rock album to come out in years and puts most of the others in that league to shame - I kid you not. This version is even better as 'In My Dreams' is a monster of a track. Fabulous stuff indeed!!!

From: Teer Date: June 25, 2005 at 8:59
I agree Jezz. Very good release indeed. I think you should listen to the new Northen Light album. A fantastic scandi release in the style of Peo and Pangea. Altho i rate the NL albym higher. Apart from the last two songs an absolute killer release by Tor Talle. Should be added here quickly.

Teer - I have the Northern Light album and to be honest with you found it on the average side. I think that the problem is that it is getting towards saturation point with certain types of releases at the moment, so is hard to distinguish one band from the next - Northern Light being a case in point. Don't get me wrong, some of the tracks are good and the vocal performances by all involved are very good, just the songs aren't quite there. The Wig Wam is how it should be done I think!!!.

Fair enuf Jezz ! Have you heard the new Gotthard and/or Oliver Hartmann already ? Excellent releases !!

From: Wotty Date: June 30, 2005 at 14:00
A fun album, enjoyable to listen to and includes the Eurovision song,'In My Dreams'..

Ok, we're at the halfway point of 2005 and this CD is leading the Best of 2005 race by several car lengths. 'In My Dreams' is simply the must-hear song of 2005. This song is as good (if not better) than the best of the best from the late 80s/early 90s. On par with Eyes, Da Vinci, Sha-Boom, Treat, etc. HUGE shout-it-out, feel-good, party-time chorus. 'Bless the Night' is also a massive summertime anthem. Wig Wam can't be faulted in any category: production, writing, performances: all FIRST CLASS

From: oliver Date: January 14, 2006 at 6:49
by far not as good as mentioned in some posts. 'in my dreams' is a great melodic rocker, but the rest is pretty average good time/party rock. can´t be compared with other classic scandi melodic acts. for sure not a must. 6,5/10

They look like clowns to me,I hate circus and Carnival but fortunately these things don t interested for me.Iper melodick hard rock,It’s eveident that they want to appear as a commercial band but where is the problem? It’s great to hear this mega melodick tunes that you can sing everywhere you go ahahahaha

From: z4roxx Date: August 21, 2006 at 12:58
I did wait since a long time a band like this,is it possible we are in 2006???Wow wow, best melodies and choruses ever heard before, and the first band that remind me to one of my fave scandi band called Sha-boom,same kind of arangments, melodies and choruses, great singer in the same vein of D.Finn, great guitarist and good guitar work for the simple genre,a little primitive rhythmic session but it’s not a problem.Beautiful moments last night with the best refrains ever heard….12/10.

From: erik Date: August 22, 2006 at 16:09
z4roxx i guess you like this one hey ?

From: z4roxx Date: August 23, 2006 at 12:46
Yeah Erik, too much!!!!!Too marvellous to hear some bad sonorities, this production doesn t satisfied me.I think their actual label did reissue the first selfproduced cd but It’s better to re-play and re-mastered this one with a better sounds.

From: z4roxx Date: August 23, 2006 at 12:46
To me they sound like magicians,I don t know how it’s possible to combine some melodick lines such as”In my dreams”,””and””.I finally hear the spirit of Sha-Boom who I put at the top of my lists indeed….I hope in the next work they’ll work a lot also around their refrains to make a big and better result.AWESOME BAND.

From: garden Date: September 2, 2006 at 7:30
that's not so strange. 'sporty', the drumer used to play in sha-boom.

From: z4roxx Date: September 5, 2006 at 12:54
I have all Sha-boom and all Wig Wam orig.cds’but now I don t have the time to check some infos’.Please what’s the real name of Sporty? So I can check in which Sha-boom cd he did play, obiously I didn t know he usually palyed with them,it’s so evident the comparison after a single listening.

Still prefer this to Wigwmania - simple reasons being 'In My Dreams', 'Crazy Things', 'Bless The Night', '....Lies', 'Out of Time' and 'Hard to be.....'. 6 of the best melodic hard rock songs you are likely to hear. All are blessed with perfect sing along choruses, great vocals and riffs/solos. These songs are all classic examples of why I love this genre of music so much! Ohh, and the rest of the albums rock too! ..go buy! 9.5/10

Who the hell classify this as Sleazy Glam?? 10/10

From: aorteto Date: November 7, 2006 at 18:46
I really love this band, but CAR-LYLE is one of the worst song ever. It`s really awful, like BREAKING ALL THE RULES( WIG WAMANIA ) or LOOKING FOR LOVE( PEO ). Sorry, but I needed to say it.

From: garden Date: November 11, 2006 at 15:26
to z4roxx: øystein (bobby) andersen. to aorteto & lennie: i agree (what is peo?)

From: aorteto Date: November 13, 2006 at 12:14
To GARDEN - I think you have never heard PEO ( look what I`ve started ). Well, it`s a beautiful AOR CD, but that song is just awful.

From: z4roxx Date: November 24, 2006 at 15:33
Ahahaha thanks for info!!It’s so true that the drummer was the same man with 20 kilos more ahaha!

From: wzcj02 Date: December 12, 2006 at 14:20
Not as good as wigwamania but a solid release. In My Dreams is killer. Great catchy melodic hard rock.

From: onemorecast Date: June 6, 2007 at 23:25
These guys are amazing. Euro-metal rules.

From: shoemaker Date: August 3, 2007 at 7:49
Overrated Hardrock clowns. Sure some very good melodicrock songs. But nothing for eternity.

From: z4roxx Date: August 3, 2007 at 12:19
Ahaha you're so right, they are clowns!I hate bands that want to show theirselves(even if I like this band)and often they don't think so much to their music(I mean for example Alleycat Scratch etc..).I think for some people is more important the look of the band than the music...maybe am I wrong???

From: rick kerch vzla Date: May 3, 2009 at 10:56
Definetely a good album by this Norwegian lot,the song "In My Dreams" is a song that could break in the States easily at a FM radio friendly station and of course not to forget the participation of this song at the famous Eurovision contest back in the date.Apart from that songs such as "Bless The Night","Out Of Time","Mine All Mine",the solo live guitar song "Erection"(really electrifying!)and the song that made the album "In My Dreams" are excellent!!!,the rest of the songs are worth every penny you've spent on this record.90/100

From: hair metal again Date: August 14, 2010 at 1:57
good debut by the norwegians with the unique screaming vocs of glam and many many good songs, these guys surely know how to write big choruses, standout tracks are "in my dreams","crazy things","bless the night" and"hard to be a rock n roller",saw them live and they kick ass.good band

From: 123charpenay Date: April 23, 2012 at 13:03
the best glam rock band ever.this record is a classic.their best album ,top class melodic hard rock."in my dreams" is a real hit.if people of generalist radios have a little taste for good music they could play this song night and day.others songs are excellents with the same common point: an irresistible choruse who stay in your brain for a long time.the japan import "hard to be a rock n roller in..tokyo"is definitively a must cause there is 3 fantastics covers in bonus tracks.one studio an extraordinary version of" i was made for lovin you" from kiss. two live" disghengis khan" a super cover from arabesque (a disco band).and the ice on the cake a fantastic cover of "the ballroomblitz" from the legendary the sweet.i was 13 when i buy this single in vinyl.i listened this song all days.my parents says "stop with this song".great souvenir.

From: Auslander Date: May 22, 2021 at 6:26
667 The Neighbour of the Beast is one of the funniest song concepts ever. The intro to the Best Song in the World makes ne laugh even now. That being said, this isn't a comedy album, it's just that they have very good senses of humour. In My Dreams is an amazing melodic track. Bless the Night and Hard to be a Rock N Roller are also excellent. It's not the best album of 2005, that is of course the timeless Rest In Sleaze, but this is still an excellent release and a worthy keeper. Rated B+.
