Filthy, sleazy, bar-brawl-attitude AC/DC-drenched southern hard-ass rock! If you enjoy destruction derbies, monster trucks and starting fights, these guys will be right up your street. Never stopping for emotions or ballads, Nashville Pussy are simply about rocking your balls off. Fans of American Dog will love these guys. The above-listed import-edition is loaded with classic-rock covers that do the originals justice whilst making them truly 'Pussified'. Killer - 8.5/10

Damn, but I get a real hoot out of this band. Like American Dog with a more larger-than-life image, and even more Springerized lyrics. This si the least punky of their three albums. Maybe the previous one, High As Hell is a tiny bit better, but this is still excellent. The Fizz Picks: "Say Somethin' Nasty," "Drunk Daddy," "Keep On FUckin'," "Keep THem THings Away From Me" and "Here's to Your Destruction." 9/10

The three cover tunes are all right, but not essential, and are available elsewhere anyway. "The Kids Are Back" is from the Twisted Sister tribute album from a couple years ago whose name escapes me (also had Motorhead on it and I forget who-all else), the Molly Hatchet song is from some dirt-bike video soundtrack and the last is from a TurboNegro tribute.

By the way, I don't have mine in front of me right now, but I believe Katielynn Campbell (ex-Famous Monsters) joined the band after this album was recorded, and bass duties here are actually handled by ex-bassist Tracey Almazon. Not 100% sure though.

Strange to see a band this raw and underground included on this site. Probably among the 4 or 5 coolest names seen here. If you're looking the slick AOR-type stuff like the rest of these bands, lay this one down and walk away. The first 2 albums hit the mark better than this one, but it's still some damn fine hooch. Now this site needs to get hip to Supagroup, Hellacopters, Turbonegro (not Black Oak Arkansas by the way), The Datsuns...

Now this is a band that I'm really diggin! This album is just AC/DC on steroids! Just ass-kicking, filthy, sweaty, balls-out metal! And no lyrics about loving your girlfriend, just about kickin' ass, takin' names, screwin', and partying. I think they've really hit their stride on this album, moving away from the excessive speed of their debut to a more straight-ahead groove. Say Something Nasty is just flat out awesome, Keep On Fuckin rips, and the Bitch Just Kicked Me Out; the name rocks!

This is pure dirty to the bone raw rock'n'roll mayhem!!!!!.Far better than their "Let them eat Pussy".10/10

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: August 3, 2008 at 14:58
Say Somethin' Nasty picks right up where High As Hell left off. This is where teh AC/DC comparisons really come in, although there are still some punkiness, but much more under control than on Let Them Eat Pussy. There are some filler tracks near the end, like the two covers, which take away from the rating, but also some of the band's best, like, the title track, "Drunk Daddy," "Keep On Fuckin'," and "Here's To Your Destruction."

Say Something Nasty always beringsback not-so-great memories of the summer of 2002: woman troubles, no air-conditioning, a huge trash-bag full of empty beer cans. So in a way, it was the prerfect environment to be blaring Nashville Pussy pretty much nonstop. It's the closest my life ever came to resembling one of their songs. I even dedicated "Drunk Daddy" to the troublesome woman ("I'm so tired of provin' you wrong every goddamn day / Wanna find the man that started it all, gonna make that fucker pay.") It wasn't the knockout I'd intended, but it got the point across. Their lyrics are hilarious--if you're not actually living them.
