| Good melodic hardrock/AOR cd...with plenty of keys and good harmony vocals."Surrender" is a great uptempo AOR song,reminds of Phenomena."Remember" is a superb ballad.I must say that the most of the songs are great...and it's more AOR than hardrock, except for a few songs." Hold On Till the Heartbreak's Over", "Hands Of A Lover" and "One Way To Heaven" are all just perfect melodic rock songs.I give this one a 8/10

| fine hard rock music with keys...i hear there was also a Euro version? but i have the Japan one and have only ever seen the Japan cd. rare and worth the money!!!!-)

With no offense to Wotty and some of the cool guys into AOR why are the majority of multiple personality cases on this site primarily into AOR?

| This is one of the biggest disappointments in my listening career. I looked forward to this for literal years. I camped on lawns, sold my lovin' for dimes and told strangers they looked beautiful. None of that had anything to do with how I wound up with this CD, but all those activities were far less disappointing than this CD. Average AOR with 1 or 2 good tracks. Simply put, if you like the Valentine debut you'll like parts of this, but if not I'd call it decent at best. Not bad, disappointing.

| I actually liked this one. Some cool rocksongs to be found like Party, Take the money and run, Surrender, Little Heartbreaker, Hands of a lover, One way to heaven. Maybe not a brilliant release but it aint bad either. A well deserved 7,5/10.

Mmm Good AOR/Melodic Rock release, bueno lo que no me gusta de este album es el cantante, mas en los agudos donde realmente la caga, pero despues es un buen album con buena dosis de teclados por cierto, ahora los cortes  Surrender, Remember, Hands of a Lover, One Way to Heaven los 4 mejores cortes sin duda, despues de todo el disco aprueba el examen y mas por ser de este año.

| I don’t like D.White’s voice(maybe now with Malmsteen he sing better?!)but this band is great,not a fantastic production but they rocks with fantastic musicians,expecially the guitarist!I think it’s a must,9/10

| Doogie White did a great job on this.Really sophiscated AOR like Magnum without any proggy touch.Are the ones on e-bay foreign re-issued copies? Or well-done repros?

| I find that often Geoff and I are not on the same page when it comes to likes and dislikes in music.....This one pulls my chain delightfully.....MIDNIGHT BLUE vocalist Dougie White (one of my favorite singers) became a big name to classic rock fans when he became the singer in the then re-incarnated "Ritchie Blackmore's RAINBOW" after the MIDNIGHT BLUE gig. He also appeared on 2 ENGLISH STEEL albums [produced by Lea Hart], which featured a number of other British rock veterans and as front man for CHAIN. Today, he is known as the frontman for CORNERSTONE (another of my favorite bands). To many melodic rock collectors, Dougie White is a top vocalist up there with the likes of Jeff Scott Soto. This CD is one of the heavier 80's AOR bands and comes with my highest recommendation. I'm all over this one....

| Delbert - you have crossed a line and I fear for you. Geoff is universally known as the Supreme reviewer on HH (quantity = quality). His reviews are not to be fully understood or questioned by us mere melodic rock mortals. Look at his review for Foreigner 4 and then compare them to his comments for Cher's 3 releases. What appear to be one of many inconsistencies are actually pure brilliance. Report to the message board immediately and beg for forgiveness in the 'Geoff's minion mates' chat room.

I think this confirms my previous statement "we are not on the same page when it comes to likes and dislikes in music".......being a "mere melodic rock mortal", I speak with a softened voice concerning my likes and dislikes as I see them, I wasn't aware of being heard so loudly throughout these hallowed halls of rock. I beg forgiveness for making such disturbing noises and shall make every attempt to lower my auditory level to mere whispers in the future!!!

| British AOR/Hard AOR band ala Tobruk & Statetrooper...the album has its very good moments if u are into this kind of Hard AOR with some solid driven keyboards..musically is acceptable...some comments about the singer..an average one,i agree with that completely,with a stronger voice this should have sounded marvellous(even though we are talking about Doogie White,a guy that has worked with the likes of Ritchie Blackmore and Yngwie M. to name a few)..."Surrender" is excellent,"Makin' Love" is flashy,"Till The Morning" is a catchy number,"Hands Of A Lover" is a fave,"One Way To Heaven" is a wonderful ballad,a highlight,"Take The Money And Run" reminded me a bit of Krokus..the bonus tracks "After Midnight" which is cool and "Party" a fave one...if u want to know some British AOR/Hard AOR bands the give MB a try..acceptable,as i said.87/100

| definitely NOT Doogie's best disc. He got alot better after this. I like AOR and melodic rock as much as anyone, but this is NOT Doogies best at all. Cornerstone and the last Blackmore disc (can't remember the name right now) are much better.

| I dunno, maybe I'm a narrow-minded prick, but any time I see a name like Doogie White, Mark Boals, Joe Lynn Turner, Graham Bonnet, or any of those other will-sing-for-food "journeyman" singer types (the only people desperate enough to end up working for egomaniacs like Malmsteen, Blackmore or Schenker), I immediately lose all interest.

| I defenitely like this album It's really powerful but very melodic. I especially like the guitar work. For me one of the best in the Melodicrock genre (it's no typically AOR but drivin' Melodicrock).

| the first song "surrender" is excellent.brillant hard f m with splendid keyboards.but after...hum it is very very average.this cd in japan import is selling at a ridiculous high price.save your money.don t spend your money for this poor a o r album!!

| If you like quality AOR from the late 80's, than look no further than Scotland's MIDNIGHT BLUE. I discovered this band for myself back a few years. I actually am a big fan of the works of Alex Dickson from GUN and Bruce Dickinson's solo band, so I had heard about this band a few times, but thought that they never released anything. WRONG! Take The Money And Run is an awesome record, so much so that it is a cryin shame that it never saw release until 5 years after it was done! Surrender is my favorite track on here. The total WALL of keyboards makes me feel as it im driving in Miami in 89. Dickson's guitar work is total SHRED on this album, which totally rules, cause I think he's one of my faves of all time now! Overall I would say (Srry, limited space, cant spill it ALL out) that this is good for fans of 80's pop metal. K.G

| I am going to have to agree with Geoff on this one. I have had this disc for many years and it is just not good in my humble opinion. If you are a Doogie White fan I suggest all of the Cornerstone releases and of course Rainbow's Stranger In Us All. His vocals are top notch on those releases. Keep on rockin'!!
