Wow!! What a suprprise...these estonian girls are sensation in german language countries(Suiss,Ger,Austria), and i am in no surprise that they are...this is simply STUNNING music...i once read that they are mix between Nightwish and Vixen...Nightwish i don't hear at all...but Vixen is here on every song...maybe sound is more poppy, keys are diffrent(digital keyboards same sound as in Wig Wam)but melodies and especially refrains in songs sounds like old ultramelodic(IMO)Vixen...

From: vandervelde Date: April 2, 2005 at 12:26
But be warned...however this album is enormous melodic this a rather pop affair( this music is played in discoteques ) , i recommend to check samples before any decisions. Best songs are Heartless( similar to Breathless by the Corrs but 100 times better, this is IMO pure AOR song ), ballad When The Indians Cry( slightly ripoff of White Lion's When The Children Cry, lyrics and melodie are similar),three ultra melodic songs Don't You Realize,Traces Of Sadness and Looking For A Hero.

From: Nanteau Date: April 2, 2005 at 14:20
FINALLY this is recognized as Melodicrock/AOR !! I'm glad. Well, what else can I say after vandervelde has wrote everything the right way. They are indeed at times very poppy and were Nr. 1 with their rocky 'hitsingle' TOUGH ENOUGH in Germany. But they are a lot more than a pophit-chart band; they are the best in this genre for a long time !! 'Don't go to fast' is a stunning ballad. And, sure, they sound a lot like VIXEN with more tuned-down guitars.

From: Nanteau Date: April 2, 2005 at 14:24
Teir second CD is reviewed as a bit darker, so maybe NIGHTWISH --but I don't now. What else to say about this one is that 'When the indians cry' reminds me a lot of 'When the children cry' too

From: Sergio Date: April 3, 2005 at 16:48
This is a perfect 10 for 80's pop/melodic rock/aor, and I totally agree with Nanteu and Vandervelde. When I said VIXEN/NIGHTWISH influences I was talking about BLUE TATTOO, the new single. Just listen to the extended version, It's amazing. The second CD, has the same quality. I have the DVD, LIVE IN ESTONIA, and they did not play, but they sing like angels. Best songs: LOOKING FOR A HERO, HEARTLESS (like GO GO's), DON'T YOU REALIZE (the best) and DESTROYED BY YOU. No fillers, even the POP songs.

When the indians cry = When the children cry (W.L. Song)

What the fuck is this. I mean it`s not real. Itīs plastic Pop of the new generation. I hate that.

From: handron Date: October 10, 2006 at 5:09
not the traditional type of hard rock but still fine the vocalist is sweety

From: Fat Freddy Date: October 26, 2006 at 16:18
Potentially stupid question... the song 'Metal Queen' on this album isn't a cover of the classic Lee Aaron track, is it??

From: Fat Freddy Date: October 26, 2006 at 16:18
Oh, and by the way... these girls are cute. Do they play as good as they look?

i discover this band only 2 weeks ago when schmankerl records sell a best of of this band.they says that they looks like to vixen.when i look to the cover of the cd i think that it is a joke.these 4 girls looks like to my daughter claire.some youngs girls modern student a little fashion.i don t imagine them playing hard rock n roll.i don t want die fool so i go on you tube for listening what they have in her hearts.what a shock superb songs i listen only hits.when they play hard they look like to vixen when they play more aor or pop they look like to roxette or quaterflash.so i buy on ebay their 3 cd s in japan import.traces of sadness is recommanded in japan import cause you have 2 super bonus tracks and one dvd 2 songs 1 clip 1 song in concert in estonia.all songs are irrestibles.in my country (france)this band is totally unknow but if by miracle they are playing in night club i wiil do what i do when i was young, spending my saturday night in discotheques.saturday night fever with v

blue tattoo is their second records.it is not at the same level than the first.nevertheless it is a superb aor record.the difference with the first is that whe have some fillers.what a stupid idea to playing track 2 cool vibes at eurovision.this is a very poor variety song.they are playing some jewels and for eurovision they sings their more weakest song!!!!!!!!!.tracks 4 and 11 are some masterpieces.i am waiting to receive their third record love is a war i will say you my impressions.

From: 123charpenay Date: January 22, 2011 at 15:38
received today love is war by mundo(japan) their third record.this album is the same than blue tatoo.you have to put in trash some fillers 4 or 5 songs.with the rest you have a fantastic very melodic modern aor record.superb singer great songs some

sorry i continue several songs are real hits could play in radio 10 time per day.i recommand the japan import cause the two bonus tracks n°13 and 14 are simply excellent.it is not real hard rock but give a chance to this band i am sure your girl friend will love them.i you have a choice to do their best record is the first traces of sadness but if you can do like me buy the three.you will not disappointed!!!!

Ordered 3 or their 4 albums on a whim the other day as they were fairly cheap and this one showed up today (not the version with the bonus disc, but does have two extra remixes). While normally I am not big on keyboard orientated rock, and at times this is very poppy, but fuck me this is an amazing album. Not a bad song on it. In the last 5 or so albums, I have played this three times. And on the second play I remembered most of the songs, which just shows how instantaneous it is, and how good the hooks are. If you don't mind a bit of keyboards, and a kind of euro pop mix with AOR, then you cant go wrong with this.

*last 5 or so hours .. doh

Just notice that the bassist is listed wrong on this. Original bassist/vocalist Maarja Kivi was with the band on this one. Triinu only ever performed on the album Blue Tattoo.
