| If you're into heavy bombastic pumprock this is a good one to check out. This record can easily compete with the better releases ever made like: Touch, Cinema face etc. First 4 songs are the best. 8,5/10

| I don't have this one, but I do have LOST BROTHERHOOD, whitch is excellent by the way. ALL THE LOVERS IN THE WORLD, DRAGON, LOVE MAKES YOU BELIEVE, OUT OF A DEEPER HUNGER are great AOR songs.

| Fantastic disc which is sounding a litlle bit more hard rock than the other Gowan's albums. This one + "Strange Animal" + "Great Dirty World" and the awesome "Lost Brotherhood" are pretty excellent discs full of atmospheres and fine worked melodies. At the same time Pomp, AOR and proggy... Gowan combines all those style to make a single expressive music, emotional and diversified. Great musician, great songwriter, fantastic singer... Gowan is a genius ! 9/10

| "Keep up the fight" is a brilliant song with a blasting ending!.Good choice if you like pomp aor.

Increible no tener nada de este artista. Si dícen que es Pomp pues paso (el PompAOR no es muy de mi agrado) pero con Gowan creo que será diferente, me gusta su voz y su estilo, al menos en el tema "A Criminal Mind" del Strange Animal, una verdadera belleza Obra de Arte y en vivo suena increíble. Tambien tengo el tema "Guns and God" que es descaradamente Rod Stewart. A encontrarte Lawrence Gowan!

| Extraño que se encuentre este trabajo y no su mejor album "Strange Animal" del 85 hacen un Pop Rock/AOR con algun toque pomposo de los cuales "Desperate(el mejor), Strange Animal, A Criminal Mind, Keep The Tension On" son los mejores cortes la situacion es que es un buen trabajo pero tampoco nada grande.

| Good PompRock, i prefer the midtempos or semi-ballads like "Oceania" "Victory" "Make it Alone" and "I Was Only Looking" than pomprock songs, definately the best tracks here. 8/10

"Keep Up The Fight" is a brilliant song with a blasting ending!.Good choice if you like pomp aor(12/02/2006)and i would add to my previous comment that this Record is a very pleasant one for sure...tracks 1,3,4,6(nice),7(nice one,loved it!)& 10 are also of interesting approach...vocally Larry is simply a delightful singer,strong but subtle at the same time  .85/100
