Glam!

From: The Glam Skull Date: August 31, 2001 at 20:35
If ya like good, fun, catchy, glam get this album. For all you death metal fans its the Obituary of glam!

From: metal_man73 Date: October 31, 2001 at 19:44
They might have been in the running with Poison for prettiest men on an album cover but they kicked ass just as much!!! I liked these guys alot better with Steevi Jaimz so this would be my favorite Tigertailz album. Every song on here rocks! If you don't like glam, you do not want to get this album. If you like this album, check out Steevi Jaimz' solo album!

From: TheRipper Date: December 15, 2001 at 1:09
This album frickin' ROCKS. If you like the fun sounds of glam, but the roaring hard and edgey melodic/80's style riffs (like Ratt or Motley) then YOU'LL ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS ALBUM!!! Steevi Jaimz is one of the most underrated front men of all time, and their guitarist Jay Pepper KILLS IT here too. While I think their Bezerk album with Kim Hooker was good, this is album is truly unforgettable. You won't be disappointed by this gem, get one ASAP, regardless of the cost.

From: Logan-Five Date: January 2, 2002 at 8:53
This band had a killer sound. Something akin to glam meets thrash. Loved the hard edge. She's Too Hot,and Livin' Without you are just killer tracks. Glam fans in search of something different should check this out.

Don't believe the rating, even though it's kinda high, it still shouldn't be any less then an 11! OK, I realize that's not even possible but this band pulled off the impossible with this release Hard, Tough, and just Raging Killer! And don't disagree until you've heard it yourself, because by song 3 you'll be believin, not to mention THE REST too! "Star Attr", "Hollywood Killer", "Livin without you", "Shameless", and the prize "Shoot to Kill", and the last 2 are great too. PERFECT, The BEST.

From: TheRipper Date: May 21, 2002 at 19:55
Start with this classic when dealing this awesome act from England (the best of any non-US glam bands I think). Production, Songs, Axe work, it's all there, and I think even though some could argue that Kim Hooker's voice is better than Steevi's in range, Steevi's is more than capable and better for this type of band. He's got style in his vocals and lots of attitude (great frontman) on this very complete and consistent release. Bezerk is good too, but it falls short of classic status like this.

From: Desslar Date: May 22, 2002 at 15:36
This is better than Bezerk (which is less heavy), and contains some good rockers, although nothing really distinctive. "Livin' Without You" is a classic though.

From: Cotton C. Lover Date: July 13, 2002 at 7:18
If you liked this album and wanna hear a truly classic glam song, then check out Steve Jaimz's (the lead singer on this cd...btw) song "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof". Awesome.

From: Andre Tekken Date: July 31, 2002 at 10:48
The very caractheristic first album of this great glam outfit!More raw and kinda"punk agressiviness"on this one!Steevi's voice is pretty nice, have a bit of Ozzy's feel on the bottom end!But far more agressive!Vicious riffing and drumming! This one put toghether something between Ratt,Crüe,Poison and Hanoi Rocks.BUT HEAVIER!78.5/10!Don't get me wrong, but the cover of this record sould be instead,on ANY X-rated film's top!Pretty good melodic and agressive punk glam rock!! !!!

From: rocknutter2001 Date: August 24, 2002 at 8:11
excellent glam/sleaze album any fan of this type of music needs to get this cd

From: Mallorcaīs rock Date: August 24, 2002 at 18:51
musicalmente es el mejor de tigertailz pero mantengo que me gusta mas Kim Hooker a la voz.99/10

From: the man Date: August 27, 2002 at 16:48
this is the worst tigertailz album ever!!!! singer sounds like a fourth rate chris van dahl!!!!!!!!!!

From: nitrodoll Date: August 28, 2002 at 2:50
hollywood killer, star attraction, young and crazy, living without you, are the best songs , the rest is also good though...it's from 1987 for god's sake, how many bands had such kick ass songs ? they surely practiced what they preached...tigertailz forever nitrodoll1974@hotmail.com

From: metalhead Date: October 31, 2002 at 2:09
Hey,The Ripper, you said to get this album regardless of the cost. What other album do you recommend "Regardless of the Cost"? I'm planning of spending extra for Christmas.

From: TheRipper Date: October 31, 2002 at 12:02
Hey Metalhead, I'd be glad to help you out as I have 100's of recommendations on rare Hard Rock and Metal! To name a few, I think you'd dig Malicious Mischief, Frontrunner, Zaza, or maybe even Tigertailz's other 'Bezerk' (I personally like 'Young and Crazy' better, between the songs and a different vocalist), anyhow on the more common side of things you should check out bands like Danger Danger's 'Screw it' or Hardline's 'Double Eclipse', some old time favs of mine. THIS ALBUM ROCKS!!! C ya.

From: metalhead Date: November 6, 2002 at 22:05
Thanks. I already have Tigertailz's 'BEZERK' and it rocks! Maybe, I'll check out Hardline.

From: HairMetalManiac Date: November 25, 2002 at 6:34
This is a MUST have and just plain F'ing rules...Hard Rockin and pure sleaze...Not a weak track to be found...I think the "Ballerina" Intro into "Livin' Without You" is way cool...I liked this better than Bezerk, but I think because this was harder, rawer, and I like Steevi Jaimz's vocals better than Hooker's in this style of music...VERY RECOMMENDED...Rock On!!

From: Brian Date: December 16, 2002 at 4:27
This album is heavier and more raw than the poppier "Bezerk".I prefer Steevi Jaimz over Kim Hooker.Fans of Tigertailz should check out Steevi's solo album "Damned If I Do..." Awesome glam tunes like those on "Young and Crazy".

From: TheRipper Date: March 12, 2003 at 18:22
I still come back for this one, a classic in the glam genre in my eyes... Everything you could want here, just AWESOME!

From: EH Date: April 13, 2003 at 5:33
ATTENTION ALL TIGERTAILZ FANZ!!! A new tigertailz compilation CD called 'Original Sin' has just been released. It features 10 tracks (6 previously unreleased) that were recorded prior 2 the making of 'Young and Crazy'. Also heard a rumour that a new studio album is in the works.

From: WADELINK Date: April 24, 2003 at 2:20
THIS IS A WICKED GROUP THE SINGER SHOULD TAKE THIS SERIOUS HE COULD USE A VOCAL TRANSPLANT

From: ace Date: June 4, 2003 at 1:21

From: Blaze Date: July 24, 2003 at 18:49
es genial es el mejor disaco q he escuchado y steevi jaimz es el mejor voalista de este cochino mundo!!!!!!1

From: Rikki lovy Date: July 24, 2003 at 18:52
epah steevi jaimz es incrible es el mejor del mundo no se porque es tan dificil pillar su material pero young and crazy es de lo mejor y steevi es culpable de eso !!!!!!!!!!!!

From: James Date: August 10, 2003 at 11:06
does anyone know if the singer Steevi Jaimz ever did a solo album? I found a bunch of songs by him but was it just demos or did an album come out.

From: Gar Date: August 11, 2003 at 19:12
Supposedly he recorded an album for Perris Records a couple of years back. Check out their website to see if you can order it. www.perrisrecords.com

From: Cotton C. Lover Date: September 6, 2003 at 18:42
Steevi Jaimz released a cd from all of his past musical endeavors titled Damned If I Do....Damned If I Don't. It's 12 songs. Some are great, some aren't. Kinda' hit and miss. I think the good outweighs the bad on it, though.

From: Dean Date: January 14, 2004 at 1:17
Looks like the Tailz are back together with Steevi Jaimz doing vocals-Pepsi isn't in there anymore-which kind of sucks. Either way looks kinda cool- check out their site for more recent news.

From: Dai Flashbomb Date: January 30, 2004 at 12:14
This Tigertailz line-up is not the real thing. No Pepsi Tate or Jay Pepper and their just doing stuff off the Y & C album - no Bezerk songs at all... However, a close friend of mine says Pepsi, Jay & Kim have started talking and the real outfit could be making a comeback. The rumour is that they've also recorded a new album (on the quiet) without anyone knowing.. Let's hope so.... cmon boyz, get it rolling...

From: PEPO Date: March 31, 2004 at 12:29
PEAZO DISCO,NI GLAM NI LECHES, ESTO ES PURO ROCK.LAS PINTAS Y LA ACTITUD SE SALEN,PERO ESTOS SON UNOS GOLFOS ROCKEROS Y YA ESTA.SHOOT TO KILL Y STAR ATRACTION LA CAŅA.KEEP ON' ROCKIN'

From: Lee Ratbag Date: May 15, 2004 at 13:49
Re the reunion - it looks like there's two rival versions on the scene now. One is the Jaimz/Finchum set-up, the other has Hooker/Pepper/Tate. Don't know who owns the rights to the name, but as both Steevi and Ace left before the band split, I can't see it being them... Personally I preferred the Bezerk lineup, so it's latter for me.

From: fallen angel Date: June 10, 2004 at 18:01
creo ke este disco puede ser bueno.si alguien me lo puede mandar ,mi correo es:diego_firehouse@hotmail.com

From: mushmouth Date: June 17, 2004 at 14:05
If u like ur glam heavier than Poison, then yeah this album comes highly recommended... a word of warning it will b hard 2 find & probably pricey, but when u get it u will appreci8 it and b glad u went the extra mile... good luck... PS I hope a new album is released soon

From: chris strutt Date: July 15, 2004 at 7:07
TIGERTAILZ are ok,this album is totatly sleazy glam rock, but itīs the way that all glam bands are, they donīt have nothing special,TIGERTAILOZ are a good band, but i think WRATHCHILD absolutly rocks over and over TIGERTAILZ in all aspects.wrathchild are the best glam band from UK ever

From: Lullä Milanese Date: July 24, 2004 at 9:18
What is it? An American standard band lost in the middle of the UK? This band would've made it if they were in L.A. It's a shame that this band is so low-rated. Great record, great band! Highly recommended for sleezy glam rock fans.

From: Richierocker Date: July 25, 2004 at 2:07
So much attitude in this album , its so raw, powerful, animalistic and if you play htis album loud around people who dont like heavy metal/glam, they will look at you like you are a crazy friggin animal. The solos' Steevi's lyrics and growl along with his delivery is just pure sleaze. Songs like "Shameless, Star Attraction, Hollywood Killer, She'z too hot, and Turn me on! just to name a few. People, go out and buy this album!!!!! Rock on!!

From: Richierocker Date: August 22, 2004 at 13:18
Another one of my all time favorites! So much sex, sleaze, balls , attitude and craziness, raw in your face and crazy guitars. Steevi james has the perfect rock n roll voice for this type of music.

From: Geoff Date: August 23, 2004 at 6:02
I first found this when it was a cassette tape in a $2 shop. After that I always thought it was some budget shit band that only I had ever heard of. Then I got into the music and realised it was a proper release, got the CD, played it even more and on this day as we speak I've grown to love this album. How can you not with glam anthems like 'livin' without you', 'Shoot to kill' and the really quite lovely ballad 'Fall in love again'. Wish Steevi had stayed on vocals for their other releases...

From: B.Grimm Date: October 4, 2004 at 8:26
She'z Too Hot is one of the best songs ever! Especially if you've got a thing for Jennifer Wells. I've owned this one since it came out on cassette and the cd is stilll a staple in my truck.

From: Glam Chowder Date: December 2, 2004 at 20:59
Excellent CD. I need a new copy

From: kelligula Date: January 4, 2006 at 2:32
Fantastic---But you REALLY gotta check out their self titled EP which preceeded this release!!! 10 outta 10!!

From: nikki_wikked Date: January 27, 2007 at 11:50
Awsome album! Much more sleazy than there follow up albums. Beserk is better but this is still an essential album to own. www.glambandz.piczo.com

From: metalhead4life Date: June 24, 2007 at 18:48
Pretty good glam rock effort from 1987. I would say this album is like a mix between Poison and the Ramones as this band seems to have somewhat of a punk influence along with the 80's glam rock of the times. Decent release with some ok songs but it really doesn't do too much for me. Don't expect too much from the musicians; all in all, just a little above average release for me. There are a few songs that are pretty good though. 6.5/10

From: shark attack Date: July 26, 2007 at 11:31
Great look!!!!(but maybe they should have spent more money on production than hairspray!!)without doubt the best uk glam band but on this release they did`nt yet have the classic songs(check out follow up BEZERK)but theres still some good moments `livin without you` being the best(actually its a fucking amazing song). Also Steevi Jaimz vocals are just not good enough for this type of music(he was better at fighting than singing!!!)6/10 for the music 10/10 for the hair!!!

From: aorluver Date: October 18, 2008 at 11:51
Reminds me strongly of Roxx Gang .Would you agree guys?

From: GlamSlam Date: September 20, 2009 at 14:10
Singer is talentless n songs r pretty bad, i donīt recommend this record to glam fans īcouse u r gonna get dissapointed

From: DNOMYTE Date: May 16, 2010 at 16:38
Into Glam? this is essential Glam Metal, it's really good too good punk influence. Don't listen to the others, this is a fun cd and the singer is great.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: February 14, 2011 at 21:05
Pretty good debut album by this British glammers...they made some fuss in England back in the day...they have some kind of a cult status over there nowadays ..."Hollywood Killer" kills,"Livin' Without You" is a very nice sleaze song with some AOR added /m/ ,"Shameless" has some catchy beats,"City Kidz" rocks very good,"Turn Me On" & "Fall In Love Again" my favorite one...Pepsi Tate, you'll be always remmembered...rest in peace bro...88/100

From: Leykis101 Date: January 17, 2012 at 5:08

excellent debut by TIGERTAILZ through the MFN record company which gave us some gems back in the day!this one is raw, anthemic, powerful and hard rockin and will satisfy everybody!it captures the young spirit and the feelgood vibe and it has great energy all over!the musicianship is ok and the songwriting pretty fine with anthems like "livin without you","fall in love again" and "star attraction".good stuff
