The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Samson CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Samson are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Along with Saxon's mighty 'Wheels Of Steel' & Maiden's 'Number Of The Beast' one of the standout albums of the NWOBHM. Unfortunately, this was criminally overlooked for the most part as most people got stuck on Saxon, Maiden and an up and coming Def Leppard. A real shame as this album has songs to match the best of those bands and then some. Powerful, yet very melodic in places, this is one hell of an album that EVERY metal fan worth his/her salt should have in their collection!!

Pretty much ageree with Jez-this was a highly over looked album at the time. Samson were more thinking mans metal in the lyric dept. Whilst I love tracks like Vice Versa and HAmmerhead on this I think the next (shock tactics) was a stronger overall album. A better production certainly and fantastic performance by Bruce Dickinson b4 he left for Maiden.
