Absolute killer. If you want a straight forward slab of perfect glam/sleaze metal, look no further. If you want complex lyrical jigsaw puzzles, look elsewhere. This is simple as hell, but perfect for what it is. The hooks and backing vocals are massive and there is not a dud song here. If you like Crashdiet or a better version of Trixie, this is a must. 'Sleeze disease' and 'Vendetta' are a couple of faves, but everything about this kicks ass.

If you like you music glammed-up, cheesy, over the top with some of the cheesiest cliche lyrics you'll ever hear then this is the album for you. Awesoem from start to finish. 'Vendetta' probably the cream of the crop on this gem. If Crashdiet and Wrathchild (UK) had a head on collission, you'd probably end up with Dirty Penny.

I totally agree with you, guys! This band is simply awesome, with the right attitude and sound for a sleaze/glam band. Once known as Antidote (a cover band of Poison), now Dirty Penny sound very very similar to Crashdiet and Loud 'N' Nasty, with great guitar riffs and over-the-top refrains: simply a must have for all the sleaze/glam lovers!!!

Increible.

From: Alexxtcatz Date: October 5, 2007 at 17:39
Stupid metallic sound. They're clones of untalented metallic band Crashdiet. Nothing similar with classic glam sound 80s.

From: Rob Date: October 12, 2007 at 19:25
Again..... HOLY CRAP.. this kicks ass!!!!

From: diferaos Date: January 1, 2008 at 11:19
Excelente disco!

Great stuff..The Crashdiet reference is a little Off IMO...These guys are Just about there though...They really have it all..I'd just like to see a bit more work in the lyrics...but they have killer backing Vox..and some strong songs...hats off to these guys for keeping it real!!!

From: Ribap Date: April 9, 2008 at 10:48
My favourite album from all these new sleazy glam bands coming out these days.

From: ghettonation73 Date: December 7, 2008 at 20:34
These guys are the real deal, Very 80s sounding, this came out in the wrong decade, Absolutely Rocking cd. My friend RockersRevenge turned me on to these guys. I wasn't disappointed.

From: crashdiet1313 Date: May 16, 2009 at 20:37
It may not be anything new, but why fix something that ain't broken? DP simply rocks. EVERY glam or sleaze fan should check this one out.

From: GlamSlam Date: September 5, 2009 at 13:27
Very poor cd, singer sucks, he pretends to be level of steve "sex" summers or crashdiets Dave Lepard (R.I.P) but he sounds like 10 year old boy. Theres nothing good about this cd except backing vocals, songs are so boring that u wait them to end. Buy Pretty Boy Floyd CDs and try to avoid this.

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: September 5, 2009 at 14:27
Man! You know when you're labeled a crappy Pretty Boy Floyd wannabe band, you're in baaaad shape! Personally, I think they sound a lot like PBF, and I don't like PBF either. Dirty Penny just try way, way, way too hard, like a lot of young bands trying to make old music. It's very textbook-like, like something they went to school to study, their final project in Intro To Hair Metal. It has no real passion or attitude or fire, just one stupid cliche after another, from the song titles to the riffs to the lyrics to the melodies to the image, right down to the idiiotic stage names. These guys are everything that was bad about hair metal, and none of what was good. Even worse than Miss Crazy.

Great straightforward sleaze! Midnight Ride, Hot N Heavy, Sleeze Disease, Vendetta are some of the stand outs on this cd. As packaging don't expect much. You get a slip cover with a picture of the band on the front, track listing on the back and the cd. That's it. Looking forward to their next disc where the music is just and good and they have a little more money for some better packaging. 85/100

From: 20gunsalute Date: September 13, 2009 at 21:19
This rocks out in good, solid old school style. wish more of these newer bands could get it right like these guys do

From: DazBuFF Date: August 2, 2014 at 13:20
Just bought both of their CDs. Can't wait to hear them!!

From: Doghouse Reilly Date: August 2, 2014 at 15:23
Really? In the age of YouTube and Spotify and downloading, you bought TWO CD's, sight unheard so to speak?

I didn't notice 4 years ago but there is a permanent hole (void) in the rock universe according to wikipedia. On October 25, 2010 Dirty Penny's social sites posted that lead singer Binge Daniels has left the band. It is unclear if they are looking for a new singer or where they will go from here(check the dumpster). Tyno Vincent joined American Idol Finalist James Durbin's solo band for his upcoming tour in 2011/12. What about "Spanky Savage", did he keep his name for a gay porn career or is he a roadie on the James Durbin tour (either way it's gay porn). By the reviews for these clowns I'm suprised there hasn't been any half mask flag comments of their fallen hard rock heroes. Anyone?
