Fantastic come back . A absolute must have for the fans of scandi heavy-rock ! Welcome back Robert Ernlund.

From: Heavy.AOR Date: March 12, 2010 at 9:05
For me not fantastic come back.Treat brilliant years is dead. This one for me like Bon Jovi with more riffs nothing new.But Treat is my top 10 bands this album standart for year 2010.75/100

From: Scottish Blood Date: March 16, 2010 at 13:05
We Own the Night best song of the album & one of the best songs of the year! 85/100.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvZ1l9tMG2c&feature=player_embedded# AWESOME track. Im located in Denmark, and must bow down for my swedish brothers. They really understand how to produce quality Hard Rock. In Denmark we have Pretty Maids, Fate, Skagarack and Iron Fire. But Sweden have tons og great bands. Treat are one of them.

From: WOH Date: April 1, 2010 at 16:17
An Amazing comeback album! Big full choruses, Big guitars, and Great Production. I have to agree with Scottish Blood, "We Own The Night" one of the best songs of the year. A must own for melodic rock fans.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: April 4, 2010 at 11:48
I found this album like when Edguy plays Hard Rock..that european hard rock vibe, you know...is a good album and has some catchy tracks of course..after that kinda epic intro we have a killer track and one of the best in the album "The War Is Over" followed by a highlight "All In","Roar" has some good choruses but the song is not too solid,"A Life To Die For" is a nice ballad,"Tangled Up" is also another highlight,"We Own The Night" is a very good mid tempo track with AOR ingredients..in general lines,a good decent album from this almost legendary band.89/100

From: Axe Slinger Date: June 1, 2010 at 21:40
This is simply the best disc of 2010 for me. "All In", "Paper Tiger" and "A Life To Die For" are just stunning for this genre in this decade. Robert Ernlund sounds terrific and the harmonies just don't get produced any better than this. This is what I want more of!!! 96/100

From: Geoff Date: June 3, 2010 at 23:49
Excellent album and more than likely the best album we will see in 2010. Which says a lot, considering the quality of releases so far. This album is very hard, if not impossible to fault. It has everything from massive melodic heavy rockers like 'Skies of Mongolia' and 'Paper tiger', to the splendid ballad 'A life to die for', US styled hard rockers like 'All in' and 'Tangled up', the mid-tempo contender for song of the year; 'We Own the Night' and stuff like the two killer melodic rockers near the end; 'No Way Without You' and 'All for love'. Everywhere you turn there's something magnificent happening. Ernlund sounds great after an extended absence, production is amazing and musically the band sound perfect. Brilliant stuff from one of my all-time favourite bands. Highly recommended.

Never heard of this band before! Then I read a review of this album on M.R who Andrew gave it 100% Then I had to hear it for myself! I purchased a copy from NEH Records and received it about a week ago. Still listening to it! Can't seem to put it down! This is a great release and a very good and very talented group! Now I am trying to locate some of their back catalogue

From: 123charpenay Date: June 4, 2010 at 11:45
in french the meaning of "coup de grace" is the last thing you do for killing a personn a situation an adversary.this cd is a real coup de grace.it is a killer cd.the intro is long and needless you can erase it.but after it is a real dream for all fans of melodic hard rock.we are in june but i can say that this album is the cd of the year.absoluty no fillers perfect production all songs and choruses are irresistibles.thumbs up marvellous job.fantastic come back.i reccommand the japan import cause the bonus track (n 15)"turn the dial" is an atomic bomb maybe the best song of the cd!in french i can that the japan import "vaut son pesant de cacahučtes!!!!!!!"

From: ryay87 Date: July 16, 2010 at 15:10
Best Cd in 25 yrs. of hard rock hands down!

From: erik Date: October 1, 2010 at 11:24
Magical return to form. Amazing how they have been able to keep their own unique 80's sound aliveyet always todays sounding. Killer voice of Robert Ernlund sounds better then ever. Their blistering chorusses in almost every song present. Man this extremely good. The war is Over,All in All, Papertiger, Tanngled Up, Heaven Can Wait, No way without You, We own the Night and All for Love are melodic rock bliss. Contender for Album of the year for me. Awesome to see these Swedish Giants back. Cheers ! 91/100

Finally, an album so highly hyped and anticipated delivers in every area. I can't find a single filler, and I look often--I play this album nearly once every day. If only all the old boys would take note of what Treat has done here. I believe this will be the 'Album of the Year,' and it deserves a perfect 100/100. Even the Japanese bonus track, "Turn the Dial," kicks copious amounts of ass!

From: MadMax Date: February 15, 2011 at 4:29
Oh my god!! Please tell me that you guys are joking! First of all this (whatever it is) is FAR away from Hard Rock, Britney Spears rocks more. This guy is an average pop singer at best. Few easy and catchy melodies that you get bored with faster than watching paint dry. You guys really made my day, thank you for that! ..can't believe I almost bought this blind because of the fuzz!

From: MysticHealer Date: February 17, 2011 at 4:18
This is vastly over rated. Not a bad release, but nowhere near as good as what people say. How Andrew rated this as a perfect 100% begs belief, but then again he does have a nasty habit of doing that with a lot of things. A 100% would mean that absolutely everything is perfect, and this stands alongside Journey's 'Escape', Bolton's 'Everybodys Crazy', Icon's 'Night of the crime' etc etc etc. Errrr i think NOT. This is a fair release and a 60% at best and nowhere near as good as 'Dreamhunter', 'Organised crime', or even The 'Pleasure Principle'.

From: GasolineAddict Date: April 9, 2011 at 13:28
Totally agree with 123charpenay here,"Turn the dial" is a freakin' awesome song, such a pity it can only be found on the Jap import! A pretty strong comeback, except for a few dull moments ("I'm not runnin'" and "The war is over", not strong enough as a opener, IMHO), and the guitar sounds a bit thin here & there, but besides that this album is a joy to listen, Long Live Treat!

From: dtmatch Date: May 22, 2011 at 20:42
One of the best cd's I've heard in a while. Great all the way through. Definitely a must have and definitely one of the best releases of 2010!! GET IT!!

From: Kralli Date: June 5, 2011 at 14:51
Wow, what a comeback! The melodic record of the year and the best comeback in a decade!(?) How the heck do you manage to create your best record 25 years after the first record? Impressive. I rated 88, could have been around 95 and maybe even higher if there hadnt been to many songs, some of the ones on the second half isnt good enough to give the really really top score.

From: rocksoul Date: February 4, 2012 at 13:20
Great come back! All songs play great. Huge catchy. Production at the top, with bass guitar at an amazing sound. Well done, masters!

From: elljam Date: March 20, 2012 at 13:46
How often do you get an album with 13 tracks on (I'm ignoring the opening intro) where every track is at least an 8/10. This must be the best album I've heard in the last 2 years, not far off melodic hard rock perfection. Great hooks, crunching riffs, excellent production & it's probably the best Robert Emlund has sounded. "The war is over", "Papertiger", "Skies of Mongolia" & "Breathless" are some of the highlights. Another is "No way without you", which could have come straight from Gotthard's Lipservice album (no surprise as Anders Wikstroem co-wrote a lot it) but my two favourites of many highlights are "All in" & "Tangled up". While Treat were good previously, this is on a completely different level.

From: 123charpenay Date: November 24, 2015 at 13:59
no doubt ,their best record.exceptionnal come back from treat.thanxxxx guys for this masterpiece.

From: hair metal again Date: December 8, 2015 at 14:52
very good release by TREAT as usual ,maybe a slice heavier and more epic that it should!the songs are great, the musicianship truly excellent but i d like the production to be more oldschool and not so digital ,as the songs lose something in the end!"we own the night","tangled up"and"life to die for" are excellent songs!great come back indeed !

From: titothetitan Date: April 20, 2017 at 9:44
This is their best album and one of my favourites of all-time!

From: dany69 Date: November 7, 2017 at 21:02
Very Very Good album BUT,,,, Not the same feeling at all than The pleasure Principle,,,Dreamhunter,,Scratch,,,,Sorry,,,,The First One All The Best,,,so farrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

From: titothetitan Date: December 27, 2017 at 13:06
I disagree with you dany69. Those albums are good - specially 'Dreamhunter' but this one has a much better production and the songs are much more catchier.
