This Swedish AOR group is great. Wonderful songs that can be played over and over again. Seen them live a couple of times and that brings me nice memorys from my youth.

What are you waiting for?Go and get it This is magic all the way..Don't forget to pick up the Dreamhunter cd on the way....It's as good as this....Don't miss it for your life...I'm sorry they never made it big...They lived in the shadow of Europe..

From: Alex Date: January 19, 2002 at 6:15
Incredible songs of this powerful band. More AOR than 'Dreamhunter' album. Musically excellent...TREAT rocks!!!

From: Sandri Date: March 9, 2002 at 6:45
A masterpiece!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great rock songs like 'Strike Without A Warning', 'Rev It Up' or 'Fallen Angel'. Emotions mixed with passions. A perfect AOR album. A magic cd.

From: WidoMakr Date: March 29, 2002 at 5:56

Good music, good songs, good musicians but the worst singer in the world.

From: koogles Date: January 27, 2003 at 2:27
I didn't know Bob Dylan was the singer in Treat, Dan.

From: Rycheage Date: February 22, 2003 at 20:44
Excellent 80's Hard rock CD. 'Caught In The Line of FIre' and 'Strike Without A Warning' are the standout smoking tracks. 'Take My Hand' is a top notch ballad. 9.0/10.

From: Teo_3 Date: March 14, 2003 at 10:29
And if you like Treat and Skagarack you should chech the cd that is pressed for the first time in cd from RAW SILK, one of the rarest lp's now on cd.The best AOR that came out of Greece now available on AOR Heaven.IT IS A MUST for fans of AOR!!!!!

From: Chris Date: June 1, 2003 at 18:44
Remember the days when Scandi aor was the business? Well this album came out at that exact time, and this is superb. Quite possibly the finest album the band ever did. Songs like 'Waiting game', 'Caught in the line of fire' are instant classics. Great riffs, great playing, and great songs. Oh i miss this kind of stuff.

From: freddy de keyze Date: June 4, 2003 at 14:49
Good record, but nothing more than that ! Certainly nothing special if you compare this and the whole scandi scene to the american/canadian AOR scene. In fact it's a combination of hardrock and AOR. I've heard hundreds of records better than this one. But there are thousands of records a lot worse than this one too !

hi-from COSTARICA.this is one of my favorites treat albums.because is very hard to find in costarica.treat proved that this band has capacity to rock. is one of the best scandinavian bands, with europe-220 volt.i love all tracks such as REV IT UP+FALLEN ANGEL.and i have the follow up DREAMHUNTER,and is very great like this.so my best treat line-up is ERNULD-WIKSTROM-LILJEGREN-SIEWERSON-BORGER. DONT MISS THIS ALBUM BUY-BUY-BUY-.THANK TO MY DEAR FRIEND VICTOR FOR BUYING ME THIS ALBUM.

From: Sean Date: April 21, 2004 at 16:11
AOR at its best. Mix between Europe and bon jovi. Really great shit

From: TIM (2) Date: May 27, 2004 at 4:52
Essential, and way better than all those U.S/Canadian releases mentioned above! 'Waiting Game' is my fave, but again hardly a filler in sight..

From: Geoff Date: August 30, 2004 at 1:50
This really is an excellent disc. I prefer the two discs that followed, but as whole this is very consistent melodic hard rock. I really like all the tracks, especially 5-8. But when you look at each individual track, there really isn't anything bad to say about this one. Just solid melodic hard rock with no fillers.

From: Andrea/Italia Date: September 30, 2004 at 0:49
This is the real killer melodic hard rock sound..trat rules..all the best

From: vigilante Date: July 7, 2005 at 17:23
What can I say, this is a teriffic set of tunes! The production may be a bit lacking, but the the Treat guys really knew how to write songs with nice, infectious hooks. Anders Wikstrom really is a great songwriter. Pitty that he's not into hard rock anymore ... Anwyway, this album is probably a milestone in a history of AOR/hard rock! No filler here, girls and boys! The same can be said for 'Dreamhunter' and 'Organized Crime' IMO.

Another excellent Treat album with so many good tracks it's nearly criminal. Definately up there with the top Scandie albums of all time and apart from the aforementioned 'Dreamhunter', Treat's finest hour. One of those albums that gets put on repeat everytime I play it!!!Fabulous stuff.

From: SCANDI Date: November 16, 2005 at 15:43
I like the cover a lot (one of my fave's ever) 'cos it has such a 'decent' way to represent them. It's hard to explain. It's just a feeling of course. Even 'royal'. Can't find the right adjective. Hovever, the songs I don't think as high as of 'Dreamhunter' 2, 5 & 1 resp. 11.

From: lubub Date: February 6, 2006 at 5:36
Hello! What a great band. Search the tv live show from RTL mosh Live at Monsters of Rock - Schweinfurt 1988. If you know somthing about that show let a info on this side or lubub@gmx.net

Treat's #1 ... 100/100

From: metalhead4life Date: December 30, 2007 at 14:50
This CD is awesome!! Filled with great songs and will satisfy any AOR/Glam Rock hunger. Plenty of catchy hooks, keys, good guitar, tasty melodic songs. The only negative thing I could say about this CD is it's a shame the singer Robert or Robban Ernlund was a little underdevoloped compared to the follow ups - Dreamhunter and especially Organized Crime. He's pretty good on this one but again, I think he's nto as developed and it could have been better. Still, this album is a must to own!! 88/100

From: BIG-TIME Date: February 29, 2008 at 14:43
Music if FIRST CLASS, BUT THE SINGER (Robban Ernlund) SUUUUUUUUUCKS...Get rid of Ernlund and they would be even better and I could listern to them more. Best song's for me are "Rev It Up" "Eyes On Fire" and "Ride Me High"...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

From: lalo r.o.c.k. Date: May 10, 2008 at 15:25
Another great album from one of my favorites bands,Waiting game,Eyes on fire, are killer songs with melodic guitars and the voice(...),not bad for me,they have reunited, and we have missed all of them, beautiful ballad is Take my hand,Fallen angel great powerful tarck, this with the next 2 albums are real gems of the hard rock,AOR,buy it, you will not dissapointed ,9/10.

From: hair metal again Date: September 20, 2009 at 6:08
excellent 2nd step from treat.very powerful, melodic, hard edged european hard rock with very good production.the vocals of robban are great, the guitars and keyboards outstanding, fantastic songs like "fallen angel","eyes on fire","caught without a warning".i think that europe until that time played average sweedish metal."the pleasure principle" is a must have for fans of melodic hard rock

From: rick kerch vzla Date: February 2, 2011 at 21:52
This one and Dreamhunter are a must to have for every Treat fan out there ..for me,this release,is a bit more consistent but very alike to Dreamhunter in general lines..."Rev It Up" is one of the band's most appreciated songs,"Waiting Game" rules too,"Eyes On Fire" is,i think, the best song of the album and a personal fave ,"Fallen Angel" & "Caught In The Line Of Fire" both are catchy ones,"Steal Your Heart Away" is a solid song and the live version of "Rev It Up" ends the album nicely...'nuff said, get it!.91/100

From: 123charpenay Date: February 7, 2013 at 12:03
if you forget track 5 (very average ballad)you have in your hands an excellent scandi a o r record.the 2001 reissue is recommanded cause the two bonus tracks are very great.the sound is absoluty perfect ,superb production (very clear and strong).all scandi a o r fans must have this super cd in their collection.

From: dany69 Date: July 25, 2013 at 11:51
just 1 word,!! Magical,!!! This band is powerful,,Perfect and so melodic,,first time that i hear Fallen Angel i drop a tear ,,i'm singer and make so much tribute and Shows sine 15 years,!! and i still don't know how this sweden band like Treat,,Europe,! 220 Volt find all this great melody,,WOW,,,Fantastic album from the start at the end,,and that is a message for all this stupid new kind of boring bands of today,,, That is Real Music,,,!!!!!!

From: Zandor Date: November 2, 2013 at 6:45
I just can't stop listening to this album. I've got my Japanese original 1st pressing CD from eBay and I'm very happy. What an enjoyable album! It's hard to tell the one I like most from their first four.

From: titothetitan Date: November 8, 2017 at 12:01
Not as rockier neither as good as the first. This one is more AOR driven - wich is Ok to me. But again, the poor production harmed the songs. I can't quite understand the hype on the comments above. For me, Coup de Grace and and GoG are light-years away better the their early records. Nevertheless, things gets better on side B.

From: titothetitan Date: September 19, 2018 at 13:10
Another album the slowly grew-up on me and now I consider it an AOR classic. 'Rev it Up' is a great opener but it sounds so much better live (bonus track) than studio. 'Waiting Game' is ultra-catchy and one of their best songs. 'Take My Hand' a pleasant ballad. 'Fallen Angel' is also killer one. I'm looking for some live recordings of Treat. If you have something to trade: tito.the.titan@gmail.com

From: Axe Slinger Date: February 2, 2023 at 8:34
Just got this on vinyl, as well as the other 80's albums, and it sounds HUGE! I don't know if it's simply because our ears are getting used to the compressed sound of digital but everything is massive. Excellent album too. 95 / 100

From: dany69 Date: February 5, 2023 at 22:56
Agree with Axe Slinger Vinyl is another Story,,,,,,,, All the sound is Balanced,,,,, Not FLAT like a CD,,,,,,,,
