Oh yeahh! What a fantastic album! If you loved "Loud Minority" as i loved! well, this one is even better! but i have to listen more times but... At first listen: 9.3/10. What a Choruses!

Well well well....thsi one took me like a time bomb. This is my introduction this band and it made me want to grow back my mullet and shake it furiously! So far this is the album of 2010 for me, gonna be tough to beat this ! Big Guitars, big choruses, big attitude and excellent production! If this doesn't rock you then you must be dead...fave tunes on this one are the rockers Rock and A Hard Place, 21 Til I Die, Witching Hour and Voodoo Woman. Ballads Children Of The Cross and What Of Our Love show this groups thought provoking side and diversity. The only track on the album that just doesn't fit is instrumental Desert Bloom which if it had been left of the album I would give this a 99/100. As it is I score it a 96/100 !

Well, first ong I ever heard from these guys was "Hell Or High Water" off the first album, and I thought, "Shit yes, this is it!" Nothing I've heard since has been quite as impressive, but it's still good music. 100% hair-metal, with no silly horror-movie, punk or goth overtones like so many bands feel the need to do. Sounds straight out of the spring of 1991, sort of a mix of early Skid Row, Hardline and a little Lynch Mob.

Really a great release and i agree with the last comment, this one is Melodic Hard Rock as Hardline or more Hard Rock is the vein of first Skid Row album and another bands for example : Rock and a Hard Place (Steelheart), My Medicine (Leppard), Children of the Cross, What of Our Love (Harem Scarem, Storm), one of the best releases this year.

Great vocals, big, soaring choruses, incredibly catchy songs... They rock as hell and they are better and better. Now they play some kind of the cross between Def Leppard vibe, Chris Laney vocals (from his last year's album) and Steelheart energy and this approach really works. 9/10

Now as for the lyrics ... well, they have a better grasp on English than a lot of Swedish bands. I mean, some of those cats, you can just read the song titles and tell they don't quite get it. But "My Medicine" verges on Adrenalize-era stupid. But what the hell, lyrics have rarely been the strong point, or the focal point, for this type of music.

I realize that, and am not looking for "metaphysical poetry," but at the same time, I don't want to feel dumber after listening. And as I get older, (and maybe because I listen to heavier music as well more than I used to), that kind of happy, bouncy tune with an empty platitude about the power of rock 'n' roll just isn't doing it for me anymore.

I am thinking that Children of the Cross is a fairly deep song myself...that is if you listen to the lyrics...want to feel dumber from the lyrics please listen to Steel Panther.

Well if Loud Minority was a hand grenade then New Religion is a bomb!..what an album we've got in here!..plenty of energy hard driven songs and basically no fillers (perhaps a couple of songs aren't that great but neither that bad),the band has amazing musicianship and took all the 80's bands such as Motley Crue or Ratt as inspiration but it seems that in here Def Leppard got the biggest of inspiration especially in the chorus (they sound just like if they were taken from a DL album!)..anyway about the songs "Rock And A Hard Place" is an excellent starter,"My Medicine" is just a killer track "21 Till I Die" another killer on the loose "Blame It On Love" has some AOR flavour added to it "Children Of The Cross" is excellent "The Witching Hour" is another killer track "What Of Our Love" is a wonderful ballad,the kind of ballad we used 2 listen back in the 80's...in general lines,a great great great release,buy it eyes closed and of course for record #3 they have to make it big!!!..a world

Great Melodic Hard Rock & Hard Rock album, i agree with the comments specially of Scottish and Rick, one of the best albums this year without a dude, 95/100.

This album is full of/contains Killer Tracks indeed, "Children of the Cross" "Lock Up Your Daughter" two of the best songs of 2010! "Blame It on Love" "What of Our Love" and "My Medicine" my favorite tracks. Posibly the album of this year! Ps hey and my comment? thanx my follower. 9.3/10

Great record....I'm actually enjoyong this one more than the debut!!...I hear traces of def Leppard, Danger Danger and early Skid Row but with their own flavor....Buy.

surely one of the best releases of 2010 in hard rock music.many catchy songs,good party feeling,strong guitars ,big choruses and fantastic production by chris laney.first listening is really impressive and if you give it a few spins you can easily see that these guys have lots of talent and right musical direction into 80s hair metal sound.the only thing that they must be careful is that some melodies are almost stolen like "children of the cross" that reminds me strongly of "18 and life".this is a must have for sure

Great sound! It seams to hear danger danger, skid row....my medecine is totally motley crue. they are swedish but could be totally from california. my fav lock up your daughter.

this is an amazing sleaze/hair metal album! Bombastic, anthemic with an 80's feeling full of shoaring vocals, crunchy in-your face guitars, memorable catchy choruses and a clear production. Without any doubt this album is a fine piece of hair metal stuff in the way it used to be played, loud and energetic!!
