| this in best work of Bruce in the Band, hes sound its great; technic and clean. But the great performance plays drums Erick Singer with power and energy in themes oldies and slow, change to powerful. This is the best formation after reunion for money... Its no classic like, Alive & Alive II, but its revisit group in great moment. arrecife@vtr.net

| Great tour and the band never sounded better as musicians. If you didn't catch this tour check out this album for sure. Doesn't have the "dark" vibe of Alive or the party vibe of Alive II but has a great kick ass sweaty kick out the jams vibe of it's own to it. Had to be dissapointing to these guys to come up with the goods as spectacular as "Revenge" as "Alive III" and have it met with lacklustre response. But in 93' with grunge for this to get ANY response was commendable!!!

| Great, powerful live album that rips through a bunch of the classics. I just wish I could see what's going on on stage during "Take it Off".

| Desslar, I think the Take It Off video is on Konfidential if I'm not mistaken. It has a bunch of strippers live on stage. KISS Alive III is my favorite of all their live albums. This has the best version of Domino for sure.

| "I Just Wanna" isn't bad on the studio version but the "magic word" adds a whole lot of flavor.

| Just heard Alive 4 is on its way via Sanctuary Records. Honestly? The last 3 times I saw these guys were some of the worst shows musically I have ever seen (Dokken shows not withstanding). Gene and Paul will likely overdub the shit out of it to make it sound decent. Other than Psycho Circus tunes, what new would this slab have to offer? That has not stopped Gene before, why should it this time?

| I saw this tour in NJ and while ALIVE III isn't on par with the first two ALIVE albums, this is still a decent live recording. Eric Singer autographed my CD of this album at the 1997 NY/NJ Kiss Expo! Very cool guy!

| The first two ALIVE albums were much better than this. There was not enough new material to make this album. It was weak and should never have been made! KISS' earlier debts (and record contracts) made this record go. KISS never wanted this album made in it's current form. They were not given the chance to make a truly great KISS album. This should have been 2 to 3 years later,( without the reunion tour)! Still a good album, though. Not a GREAT ALBUM! ALIVE IV is much worse!! {SHOW ME DA MONEY!}

| I think it should be a double cd.On this tour they brought back lot of songs from the past,that would be very nice to give for the fans their versions with this line-up.Very good one,but it could be really better.

| This has to be one of the worst in the whole catalog or at least with the live records. Kiss with Eric and Bruce are a hell lot better musicians but the lack of songs that cover the period. They limited themselves by having only 15 songs and having to include the Star spangled banner. C'mon they seemed to be hard pressed here. the flow didn't seem natural and seemed contrived. The album hit #3 but dropped like a stone and disappeared from the charts. That says alot. The best song I was made..

| Kiss have always been by-the-numbers Rock & Roll when it comes to their live shows. So it goes what you hear on any record is what you get live in concert & on their live albums. No deviation or improvs whatsoever. Not to say that they don't have a career full of great songs, it's just that once you've heard one live Kiss album, you've heard them all. Yeah some of the setlist songs might have changed over the years but hell, note for note they are the same as in the studio. Despite this seeming flaw, this album draws you back, just like their live concerts always seem to do.

| i really can't beleive the negative reviews of this album i think it's a great album and they sound great i've seen kiss when they came here to australia with bruce and eric 2 years after this came out and they were awsome if you watch the konfidential video then you appreciate this even more that video made me wanna go see them and i'll always go see kiss when they come here nothing wrong with this live album at all

| i ve never have the chance to see this legend in concert.when they plays in france they plays only in paris unfortunately never in lyon.so when i listen this extraordinary live i close my eyes and i imagine that i am in u s a and i m in the crowd.this live is symply fantastic.all live record are some best of record live.so of course always several songs are missing.for kiss the list is too long i can regret "i stole your love" "strutter""love gun" tears are falling" ect ect.ok i understand they can t play 50 songs in a concert.eric singer is a super drummer but the sound of the drums is a little weird.no problem musicians of kiss are masters in hard rock ,a legend .many many bands will be forgotten in the future.kiss never, they are a legend.

| This was my second Kiss album as a kid, after Hot In The Shade. Obviously, it doesn't have the same historical importance as Alive, or even Alive II, but it is the only live Kiss album to contain a majority of post-'70's material. So we get great live versions of "I Love It Loud," "Lick It Up," "Heaven's On Fire," "Domino," and even "I Was Made For Lovin' You" is pretty good. For Charpenay, much like the first two live albums, Alive III was largely recorded in the studio, something Kiss make no apologies for. The version of "Detroit Rock City" is probably my favorite rendition of that song, though.

| I agree, dude, would we really even know if they didn't admit to it, and have a history of doing that (as did many others)? For what it's worth, it was more than "touched," though. I think Bruce Kulick was the one who said only the drums were live, and the band played along in the studio to re-cut everything else. Also, you notice "I Just Wanna" has been censored, where Paul gets the crowd to yell "FUCK!" The word is garbled into something nonsensical. That was done to avoid a parental-advisory sticker, so that stores in America (Wal-Mart and jKMart mainly) would carry the album. In fact, if I recall, I actually bought this at Wal-Mart.

| It's just kind of a play on how it actually sounds like the original song goes "I just wanna fuck, I just wanna fuck," when those actually aren't the lyrics ("I just wanna for, I just wanna forget you"). But yeah, it's total frontman cliche, to get the crowd to yell that word.

| Fun conversation between "Doghouse" and "123Charpenay," on this one. This album lacks the punch of the others IMO. While '80's and into the '90's KISS, were arguably more talented as musicians, '70's KISS had more grit, which to me, made them more fascinating. Good debate though.

| It took so many years for Kiss to release this third "Alive" chapter...a mix of oldies and "new" ones of that stage or so...88/100...this is the typical live Kiss album you might expect.
