Billy at last! Now the site is even more complete! Thanks for placing that presumptuous guy here! "Love calling" "Dancing with myself" "Hot in the city" "Nobodys business" "White wedding"- real rock pearls . Steve Stevens -nice shredding machine! Welcome home Billy.

My first introduction to Mr. Idol proper, as I never liked Generation X at all to be honest and always gave them a wide berth. This was a real surprise at the time, especially with Steve Stevens on board, and the fact that the pair cetainy gelled from the off. Who doesn't know 'White Wedding', still a great song and a rock staple even today.'Hot In The City' was the other biggie from this debut and again is still great track. There are A few tracks on here that were verging too far towards the Electro-Rock stuff that was prevelant at the time. I'm thinking the truly awful Sigue Sigue Sputnik (who's Tony James, also from Billy's Generation X. days, is a guest on here) and Transvision Vamp amongst others. That aside, for a debut, this is still a pretty good effort and still holds a certain charm.
