| This is better than 99% of hard rock albums you will hear and it's a collection of demo's. As good as the debut album this is melodic hard rock at it's very finest.

| I'm sorry but I'll have to disagree! I for one bought their Debut...Stunning album. Then bought their follow up, again a bloody good selection of songs! Then I bought this(Bearing in mind this was some 10 years ago). Agreed, The song writing of Jean Beavoir is superb! Although a dated formula, he delivers everytime! This is apparent here(That I'm not dissing)but the sound quality is rather poor. Demos..YES but this reaks of record Co cash-in. Deserving of proper recorded release! Die-hards only!

| That maybe sounded a tad negative...Considering they are demos..these really are a fine set of tunes but, when I parted with £12 quid of my own hard earned cash a long time ago I felt a little cheated on what I heard. I know this has been re-released since this cover was created...perhaps they were re-mixed..I dunno? but I cannot unerstand Companies releasing Demos as a cash-in on recent sucesses. The efforts in this recording deserve a top notch/quality release. Maybe I'm wrong but that's IMO!

| Knowing that these were the demos presented to the record company before the debut, I had high hopes. But then again, there is a reason none of these made the debut. Some decent tracks, but they sounds like what they are, demos. 5/10

| The best stuff ever released by COT. The sound is quite rought, but fits well. Go for the rerelease with the bonus DVD. 10/10

| 'Little stone house' is a nice melodic hard rock track and there are some decent demos here. Nice for the complete collection, and more consistent than most COT releases.

Crown of Thorns kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen.Die jungs bieten alles was das Herz begehrt.Knackige Rocker und einfühlsame Balladen.Was will man mehr ??? 9/10

| these tracks are NOT the demo presented to the record company.its the 6 demo songs on the bonus disc of breakthrough.check it out,they are great.

| this is fantastic.i guess at that time they could write 50 songs of such quality.the band is in great form and those songs proove the importance of mickey free in guitars and songwriting.listen to "little stone house","never enough" and "how can i tell you".it would be so nice if they could go on in this direction.unfortunately the later releases arent so good.this was a big pleasant surprise for me.

| This has a load of good songs which deserve a proper release. Sadly, this is the only release we'll get of them apart from the few that were recorded live and appear on 21 Thorns. Victim of Love and The Night sound like they belong on Voodoo X's only album and the rest aren't too bad either.
