If you notice that a particular DC Lacroix CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. No comments???...well,first album i'm gonna write about is their second release "Living By The Sword"...honestly this band is just a standart one,no major killing riffs or great compositions IMHO...Sylvie Lacroix's voice sounds just like a rocking version of Blondie mixed with a lighter version of Wendy O Williams(r.i.p.)!!!..."Get It Hot","Shake Me" & "These Boots Are Made For Walking" are 3 pretty acceptable rock tracks but the voice in those make them sound kinda punkies ,"Good Love Gone Bad" rocking & ,"Living For Rock 'N' Roll" just for the title could have been a goodie one but really the song is kinda weak , sounds like a cheap Joan Jett "By The Sword" has an AORish flavour & "Pave The Road" is the most solid track and maybe the best one...80/100...i will write about their first album pretty soon(most likely tomorrow )...peace out!

Now talking about their debut album "Crack Of Doom" well is a bit better(not to say a lot better!) than their follow up...in here the songs were somehow better structured and with more feeling, even the voice of Sylvie sounds more attached and passionate, with feeling in other words as i said..."Rip It Up" is a highlight,"Burn The Bridge" rocks,"Black Leather Monster" & "Black Sunday" are goodie ones,"Shooting From The Hip" & "Crack Of Doom" also are good shots, highlights too...as a double package(and i think is the "best" way to obtain both albums because to buy these releases individually could be quite dissapointing)is quite ok...82/100..this one...for both albums i'll keep my rate 80/100

Thanks Rich. Saw both these discs listed and wanted to check if they were worth picking up. Based on your review, I will pass.
