If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Kooga CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Kooga are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Wow such memories..great to have this band posted at Heavy Harmonies...saw this lot live as a support act to Saxon during Saxon's Destiny Tour..late 80's...if u like A.S.A.P (Adrian Smith And Project) or Uriah Heep when melodic then Kooga is your band ..."Lay Down Your Love" is my fave one along with "Like I've Never Known"...another good shots are "Across The Water","Lifeline","She Walks In Beauty" & the smoothie "Gabrielle"....get it!!!...88/100

Never a major name when this first came out, which was a real shame, as this a super album, with some great songs that rank right up there with similar stuff that was being released at the time. Unfortunately, this has been given the 'Krescendo' treatment, rather than someone like Rock Candy who would have done a much much better job with it. Never mind, at least it is out there for everyone to hear and the supposed 'Remaster' doesn't sound too bad compared to some of the other Krescendo releases. You don't get much better than the title track that kicks this one off, huge pompy keys ala Magnum, a pumping rhythm section, plus a great vocal from Neville Macdonald, who reminds me alot of the great Dave Hill from Demon (another band that aren't too far away musically than this). Great great stuff and I really do defy anyone who is into their 80's Brit AOR/Melodic Rock to not like this forgotten little jewel.

KOOGA was one of the many hard rock/aor acts that came from UK in the mid 80 s with a lot of keys ,melodic hooks and warm heartful vocals!Unfortunately i d say that KOOGA arent one of the best as the songs arent that strong and the keys not as good as they should!"she walks in beauty ","gabrielle" and "lifeline" are the best moments !If you like bands like early STRANGEWAYS,DARE or MAGNUM then you ll probably like this one too!
