CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

| Mordaz nació de la unión de Peti Guelache y Daniel Telis que habían formado parte del grupo El Reloj. En un comienzo, la banda se llamaba Sr. Mordaz, pero luego decidieron acortar su nombre. En 1985 el grupo recibe la oferta para actuar en Rock In Rio, Daniel Telis explica: "Uno de nuestros objetivos es tocar en el exterior, pero rechazamos la propuesta de Rock In Rio porque hacia dos meses que el grupo se había formado y pensamos que era una falta de profesionalismo total ir en esas condiciones". Peti Guelache agrega; "Si hubiésemos ido a Rio hoy seriamos figuras importantes, pero era demasiado riesgo. Elegimos el camino mas largo y no estamos arrepentidos de ello". Ese mismo año grabaron su único disco llamado Libertad condicional que vio la luz en 1986.
