I am so glad she has returned to her rock roots after years of dabbling in jazz, but its certainly not her finest work. Her vocals are as good as ever, but the song quality just isn't there. Theres a kind of mix and match of styles on this, with even some of it dabbling in the pop punk genre. Its not a bad release by any means, and may grow on me, but it certainly is not going to top the list of my faves.

A few more days of repeated listens and it has certainly grown on me as the songs are catchy for certain. Still not convinced on some of the lyrics though as some of them are more suited to a 20 year old than a woman in her 50s (Wannabe is a main culprit), but its Lee Aaron, so she can sing what she wants. There is also some interesting conflict going on. The first song goes on about being a tom boy and not a girly girl, and then the next song starts going on about wearing stilletos and short skirts. Over all its a highly enjoyable album.
