One of the finest melodic metal albums from germany. Got one of the best reviewscores in the japanese Burn Mag. ever!!!

From: msosam66@hotmai Date: January 3, 2002 at 15:32
I agree with Shoemaker, one of the finest works of the eighties, really good vocals and perfect background vocals too, strong rhytm section, harmonius keyboards and great riffs. It's an obligatory record. I recomend listen to the track 'A little bit of your love'.

From: Anthony Wild Date: May 23, 2002 at 19:35
I love his voice!

This is a good European hard rock album with great melodies and harmonies. Great guitar playing and excellent song writing. 8/10

From: Rycheage Date: April 21, 2004 at 22:19
The album is a mixture of Boston's melodic power and Queen's symphonic tapestries. An acquired taste for some, especially the vocals of Herr Flexig, but all in all, a nice slab of German melodic rock, if a bit inconsistent at times. Surely though, excellent tracks like 'Love Will Live', with its simplistic anthemic style reminiscent of early Queen, plus 'Eastern Sun' are flagbearers for melodic rock. Recommended.

This album enriched my childhoodyears. Michael Flexig is great, no other singer can get this high (ok, Tony Harnel from TNT can!) The songs a very melodic and catchy.

Just got this baby today have been trying for years to get it on cd, my wait paid of as i got a copy with 5 extra tracks. This album is a killer just as good as i remembered it from the eighties not a bum track on here. If you can track down this album it will be worth it.

Another timely re-issue from the Mtm classix, and after the Fate re-issues their best yet. This is Melodic Rock of the highest order, and now that it has been given the complete makeover treatment in the Mixing & mastering (by Zeno Roth himself) sounds absolutely fantastic. You can now hear loads of nuances in the mix compared to the drum heavy vinyl version. My picks -'Heart On The Wing'(bloody huge track), 'Circles Of Dawn', 'Emergency' & 'How Can I Know' (1 of the 5 excellent bonus tracks).

What a great 80s feeling you get while hearing this CD.. Great Harmony... A MUST HAVE !!

From: TIM (2) Date: July 11, 2005 at 3:34
As with the other Zeno albums, this one is built around 2 or 3 utterly killer tracks. In the same way that the 2 Zenology albums contained a few of my all-time fave AOR tunes ('Is It Love','Together','On My Way') but were otherwise a bit patchy, this contains 'Emergency' & unbelievable bonus track 'How Can I Know' - sheer heaven for AOR fans. Never been a fan of Flexig's heavily-accented vocals (I always much prefer Tommy Heart),but otherwise this is worth getting for the few highlights. 7.5/10.

Awesome cd, great debut. The sound is amazing, refrains make you fly 9/10

'Magnificent'!!!!.This is the best word to describe such a huge record. Some writers fight over wether is good or bad album.I wrote a message more than a year ago and i haven't changed my mind about it.Now the reissue of the album has bonus tracks wich makes it a more complete album)i believe some songs are extended versions from some tunes already in the album).Para los hispanoparlantes, paz, amor y rock'n'roll!!!.

This album is amazing! Zeno is a great example of good songs, production and performance. Brilliant record "A Little More Love", "Don´t tell the Wind", "Signs on the Sky", every track is great, Michael Flexig is an awesome singer.

I must be hearing something completely different than everyone else. The singer is really bad and the production does not help. Just my two pennys.

From: titothetitan Date: October 26, 2017 at 12:53
One of the best AOR albuns of the 80's. Excelent vocals & backing vocals, shining keyboards, catchy choruses, great production. I have the 2005 remastered edition. It includes demos for the songs 'Signs on the sky', 'Far away', 'Don’t tell the wind', 'Love will live'. The follow-up albuns aren't as good.

RIP Zeno Roth! Really sad, he was a great artist, love his music, one of my favorite records of the 80´s. ROCK ON Zeno Roth!!

A big shame that only one guy wrote about him.I now no longer write on this site because I have totally lost interesting in music that I find repetitive in its execution and devoid of innovative ideas.Zeno was an immense talent, almost unreachable by anyone. Thanks to him I spent unforgettable years.A blow to the heart when I heard of his death. It was February 5th, I did not read a single comment apart from that of petermexico13. What a shame, for real.

From: petermexico13 Date: February 17, 2018 at 14:57
Z4roxx You are right! It´s really sad to see nobody cares the passing of a true gifed artist, Zeno for me was a special one. His music delivers too much love for the composition itself, great arrangements, fantastic choruses and melody. A unique man! He was one of a kind. Only a few artista maintain their pursue for a different an original sound. Zeno was one of them. His brother talent ia special too. We have the right to support every single true talent like them! Zeno Roth y Uli John Roth merecen más reconocimiento!

the only bad comment for this cd will be mine.yes this record is out of the ordinary, but it s a strange hard fm ,a little symphonic with an asian s recollections.yes the singer have a high pitched voice.my fave song is "don t tell the wind" but the rest....hum, several years later fair warning will do much much better.
