| Proof positive that the world is not a fair place! 3rd fantastic album by DRN. Packed with great songs, attitude, top class musicianship and that special "classic album" magic. STILL didn't get anywhere and had to split up. Come on America, surely U don't prefer shit like Wheatus and Sum 41 to this!!!!

| The 1st track was about all I could tolerate. It was played in the movie "The Cutting Edge." I liked the song and sought out the album. After the first song ended, so did my interest. Most individuals on this site would do well to avoid this one.

| Ok ,it's not as good as The Debut or Slam, but this is still a very strong album.A couple of the songs are filler, but there are also some DRN classics on this disc (Salt Of Joy, Long Way to go)

| I usually prefer more straight ahead hard rock and metal but have to say that this is a great album. Or rather it's the material which is great. It could be a bona fide monster but I find the production a bit thin and, dare I say it, Reed's voice doesn't make the best of his great lyrics and melodies. And I agree, Long Way To Go is a real classic.

| I don't agree with you Tim. I think this album is another excellent c.d... maybe it wasn't as popular as the first two but despite of that the c.d is a must have!!! Too bad they don't make music anymore because they probably would keep releasing good stuff!!

| Killer album. I saw DRN at HammerJacks in Baltimore (RIP) and they were absolutely stellar.

| SALT OF JOY is one of the strongest ballads I've ever heard. I love this band becuase they're from my home town, but many of you (if you're not familiar with DRN) should try the self titled debut or SLAM for your first introduction.

| Dan Reed continued after that (at least for one CD as far as I know, maybe more ???) . Good stuff, but weaker than with DRN, the band. The Heat is a very excellent CD, apart form "Money" which is a sin... Production is exceptionnal, perfect, the sound of the drum is something man.

| While it tends to be more fashionable to prefer the 1st two albums, for me this is their best and most solid work. Not a bad track on this album, and it really should have been a huge hit!!!

| 3rd release by the network that continues in the same way as previous releases.there is so much talent,good musicianship,quality in songwriting that makes this record worth buying it.the only problem is that there are some fillers here that shouldn t be included.my favs are "mix it up","the heat","let it go" and "thy will be done".very sad they didnt continue after that

Yeah in the same line as "Slam"...pretty good stuff!!!...great songs with that funky rock groove that are enjoyable 2 our ears(at least mine's)..."Baby Now I","Blame It On The Moon","The Heat","Love Don't Work That Way","Money"(excellent and curious cover of Pink Floyd),"The Salt Of Joy","Thy Will Be Done" & "Long Way To Go"(nice acoustic track) are my favourites...get it!!!.93/100
