IF YOU LIKE CASSANOVA YOU WILL LOVE THIS. KILLER COVER OF DEEP PURPLE'S BURN. A MUST HAVE CD!!!!! ROCKS FROM BEGINNING TO END.

From: THE ROCKER Date: July 8, 2002 at 13:36
BUEN DISCO,UN POCO MAS ROCKERO Q CASANOVA,CON EL GUITARRISTA DE BONFIRE

From: david Date: August 16, 2002 at 10:12

From: MALLORCA´S ROCK Date: August 31, 2002 at 16:53
No conozco Casanova, pero este disco es bastante bueno y con una buena dosis de elegancia.

From: Manolo Date: November 14, 2002 at 19:11

great album from german melodic-rock superstars michael voss and gerhard"angel" schleifer. check out the deep purple cover "burn" or "innocent years". absolutely great. re-release through "escape-music" in autumn 2003 with lots of bonus-tracks. so take it then.

News from MelodicRock.com: After 5 studio albums and 8 active years in the music business, with Demon Drive have called it a day. While producer Michael Voss is currently concentrating on producing his bands Silver and Biss, Jochen Mayer (bass), Frank Kraus (drums) and Thorsten Koehne (guitars) are looking for new bands to join.

Just got this album...It's one helluva rocker! Don't let the year of release misguide you. It stays true to the roots! Only turn off here is the much too obvious Dokken inspirations...

From: Xevi Date: April 28, 2004 at 3:51
Hard rock limpio, con unos muy buenos cantante y guitarra. Canciones directas. Tal vez es cierto que no destaca ningún tema, pero es fácilmente audible en cualquier momento del día.

From: jessica96fish Date: August 5, 2004 at 6:16

Found this for $5.00, still one of my best finds. And how can you go wrong with Voss and Schliefer? 'Burn' is a great opener, 'Desperate Town' is a killer ballad - I love that intro! 'Blame It On the Night' is hard rock at it's best, 'Open Fire' is great too, and 'Sneakin' Round Ya Backdoor' is again killer melodic hard rock, as is 'Innocent Years' and 'Hard Times Roll'. And I'd love to hear the full proper version of 'Then It's Luck'. A must for Casanova fans, and fans of great melodic rock.

From: vandervelde Date: May 21, 2005 at 1:12
Well this is easily a superb record...what we got here it's a blend of the best hooks from Bonfire mixed with melodies taken from Bon Jovi golden era...Innocent Years is a monster song, as is ballad Desperate Town but the rest is as good...really, really a highly recommended record...

From: Teer Date: May 23, 2005 at 10:21
Love this record by Demon Drive. IMO its one of their finest moments. With the first 6 songs and Innocent years as absolute killer tracks. Fantastic cover art also. 8,5/10 Erik

From: rene Date: August 13, 2005 at 11:49
I agree with TEER, this is a great album. Increible good songs with a great sound and with a 80s spirit. BONFIRE and CASANOVA fans, BUY OR DIE.

From: z4roxx Date: September 19, 2005 at 11:41

From: headbanger4life Date: December 23, 2005 at 1:31
A definate must have for Casanova and Bonfire fans. Michael Voss and crew do not disappoint on this one. I have the Japanese version sporting two bonus tracks that make this one even sweeter.

From: hernanHRM/AOR Date: October 28, 2007 at 8:33
Este albun tiene la chispa de ese tremendo stylo llamado "Melodic Hard Rock" toques con mucha potencia y quien mas podria ser Micheal Voss todo lo que toca lo hace genail pareciera un Disco mas de Casanova pero que decir un buen disco de con cortes muy buenos "Up To You, Blame It On The Night,Innocent years, Desperate Town" y mi favorita Open Fire muy buen trabajo 9/10.

From: rbrigade Date: December 3, 2008 at 12:39
Quite good but not really great. Didn't like the production. The comparison to Bon Jovi golden era is exagerating...

From: metalmaniac777 Date: December 30, 2009 at 13:27
Melodic hard rock with enough red-hot sizzle to make the Devil sweat bullets, but what else would you expect from the collaboration of Voss & Schleifer? These tunes are driven by the hooks, and the hooks come from the "catchier is better" school of songwriting. With just one or two spins, the tracks burn themselves into your brain like a branding iron and you'll be humming them for days. Just like doggy-styling a gorgeous woman without a rubber, there's a lot of hard rockin' fun to be had with this CD.

From: happy2849 Date: March 7, 2011 at 14:09
There is no doubt that Mr. Voss is good at what he does and this prooves it. Some top-notch melodic rock that keeps you interested. Unlike a lot of cds in my collection, I never skip over any track while playing it.

From: halfordhughes Date: March 19, 2011 at 10:50
