If you notice that a particular Resurrection Kings CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. EPs and CD-singles from Resurrection Kings are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

Craig Goldy (Dio, Guiffria) is back from the dead as when I saw the video for "Who Do You Run To" he currently looks like a poor man's Meatloaf (the hands of time). Resurrection Kings are another all-star group formed assuming there is CA$H and the end of the 80's rainbow with band line-up from their hard rock heyday. Sean McNabb played on Quiet Riot‘s (1988) self titled album with Paul Shortino on vocals and most recently Dokken gave him his walking papers. Vinny Appice drummed for Black Sabbath and Dio. I'm not big on dudes named Chaz (since the movie Wedding Crashers) or in this case his high register singing style. He was in Red Dragon Cartel for about 5 minutes. There are no real standout tracks on this one as I have the Japan release with the nice bonus ballad "Never Say Goodbye". Goldy's Dio-esque axe work is the standout here as he still has the chops, but maybe with a different lineup or band in the future.

I know the cover art tells a different story, but I was hoping for a more melodic/aor (Guiffria) style. But this ok .

I agree with the two above. I was hoping for........something more. I think it might be the fact that I played it right after listening to In Faith, Find Me and Khymera and it just couldn't hold my interest. Chas West if fine as a singer but his vocal tone doesn't keep me hooked. The music itself is fine too but, again, I probably didn't do it any favors by throwing it in after all those classics. Right now it's a 83 / 100

One issue this one has is 'Wash Away' is such a d@mn good tune it kinda overshadows the rest of the record.Goldy's guitar work is in fine form...some Whitesnake / Dio-isms intact.Verdict: Could be better- but not too bad for one of these Frontiers' projects.
