If you see any errors or omissions in the CD information shown above, either in the musician credits or song listings (cover song credits, live tracks, etc.), please post them in the corrections section of the Heavy Harmonies forum/message board.

The music discographies on this site are works in progress. If you notice that a particular Heartland CD release or compilation is missing from the list above, please submit that CD using the CD submission page. The ultimate goal is to make the discographies here at Heavy Harmonies as complete as possible. Even if it is an obscure greatest-hits or live compilation CD, we want to add it to the site. Please only submit official CD releases; no bootlegs or cassette-only or LP-only releases.

EPs and CD-singles from Heartland are also welcome to be added, as long as they are at least 4 songs in length.

The best release since the debut without a doubt. The production sounds alot better than previous releases, although is still a little 'flat' in places. Good set of songs (never a problem with this band) and Chris Ousey sounds great as usual.

'castles in the sand' is a good song

From: AOR freaky Date: December 4, 2003 at 4:51
I fully agree with Jez, this is a band that always offers good songs. I've picked out this album, but they're all worth checking out ! ANd indeed, Chris has a golden voice ! One of the better english AOR bands !

From: TIM (2) Date: July 7, 2004 at 9:24
Agree with the above, good songs but the production really lets this down. The opening 2 tracks are excellent, particularly "Castles In the Sand" which is brilliantly written. This is good if you play a few tracks at a time, but over a whole album it grates and the songs sound a little samey. Is well worth the very low eBay price though. 7/10.

From: Geoff Date: February 11, 2005 at 23:46
As Tim (2) rightly points out, few bands knew how to write more samey songs than these guys. After a pretty excellent debut these guys never really hit the mark again. This is not bad by any means, but if ever further from great. Good, solid and consistent are all favourable comments, but just unspectacular.

ONLY A HEARTBEAT AWAY Y NOT TIL HEAVEN FALLS EN LA MISMA DIRECCION,HARDWORKING MAN DESTACA BUEN AOR CLASICO,FEELS LIKE MAGIC OTRA DE MIS FAVORITAS ESE RITMO BATERIA CON GUITARRA MUY ORIGINAL,STILL GOT MY FEET ON THE GROUND BUENA,DON'T LET THE FIRE DOWN OTRA DESTACADISIMA MELODIA AOR. POR SI FUERA POCO LA EDICION JAPONESA ES CON OTRA PORTADA MAS BUENA, BONUS TRACK. EN GENERAL SORPRENDENTE ALBUM DE AOR, NO COMPARABLE CON SUS 2 PRIMERAS OBRAS MAESTRAS. LARGA VIDA A LOS HEARTLAND.

Superb album with good songs as mentioned above. Great AOR with that classic keyboard laced sound. I despise songs with girls names in them...seriously, it ruins them but..Elena is one I can actually look past and enjoy, even seek out - it's a great song. Great ballads too including a coverted "Dog's Ballad" the beautiful Only A Heartbeat Away -Nice!

From: pdabremer Date: November 17, 2010 at 19:14
Best album ever. Theres not "the worst song" or the "the best song" in the album, because ALL THE TACKS ARE EXCELLENT. These guys deserve everything they want in their lives for this album.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: November 20, 2012 at 16:48
Back on track with this album...the band had quite lost it with that "III" release IMO....best shots here are "Castles In The Sand","Where The Pieces Fall"(nice),"I Will Wait For You","Hardworking Man" & "Feels Like Magic"...enjoyable stuff...87/100
