My fave on this release is Inside Out. Germany's answer to Bon Jovi but more heavy. I'd have to say this is the weaker of the 4 releases.

From: reebboy Date: January 28, 2002 at 22:00
This is the first CD I bought by them an the one that got me hooked on this band. Great songwriting and production. This is my second favorite CD by them, Masters $ Slaves being first....

Qurva nagy album. Bon Jovi-éknak egy ilyen kaliberû albummal kellett volna elõálniuk ugy '94-95 magaságában.

Alapmû!!

From: John Date: September 23, 2003 at 17:20
One look at the song titles had me thinking to myself that this is going to be the cliche band of the century. Further investigation, however, revealed one classy AOR album. Something about Borrman's voice rubs me the wrong way, but the songs are great so who cares?

From: CHRIS Date: June 13, 2004 at 22:59
This is an awesome AOR masterpiece. The songs rock the musicians rock i mean why can't the U.S.A. have bands like JADED HEART!!!

From: Makukulalalala! Date: June 29, 2004 at 12:28
EL MEJOR ALBUM DE JADED HEART. NO TIENE DESPERDICIO DE PRINCIPIO A FIN.

From: Geoff Date: February 1, 2005 at 23:45
This album, 'Trust', 'IV' are my three favourite Jaded Heart CDs, but not sure which order. This is an amazing debut and ensured these guys were to be, and still are one of my top 5 favourite bands. Absolutely stunning melodic hard rock. Tracks 3-13 are all great! Faves are 'How many tears' (Monster track!), 'Excuse', 'Burning for love', 'Missing you', 'Take me back', but it's hard to pick because this album is almost flawless. Sensational debut, hugely recommended!

SI SEÑORES UNA SUPERJOYA DEL HARD-ROCK MELODICO/AOR CON MAYUSCULAS DE LA PRIMERA MITAD DE LOS 90 (LA MEJOR DE ESA DECADA), LA COMPARACION CON BON JOVI ES ACEPTADA SOLO POR EL TIMBRE DE VOZ PARECIDOS, PERO ESTE ALBUM DE JADED HEART HACE PURE CUALQUIERA DE BON JOVI(YA QUISIERAN ELLOS HABER SACADO UN ALBUM ASI), ASI QUE ESTAMOS ANTE UN ALBUM QUE NO PUEDE FALTAR EN TU COLECCION. TEMAZOS COMO Inside Out Y Surrender(MIS FAVORITAS), How Many Tears, Hold On, Listen, Burning For Love

From: Rafo Phoenix Date: February 4, 2005 at 22:18
6 CORTES DEMOLEDORES CATAPULTAN ESTE ALBUM A CLASICO ABSOLUTO DEL GENERO, SIN DUDA DE LOS MEJORES ALBUMS DEL 94. SALUDOS DESDE ICA-PERU A TODOS LOS HERMANOS QUE COMO YO DISFRUTAN Y AMAN ESTA MUSICA INCOMPARABLE. AOR AND HARD-ROCK MELODIC FOREVERRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: Beto Date: March 4, 2005 at 19:51

I love this band. Amazing guitar driven rock with great melodies and vocals. Wish there were more bands like this. A+++

From: Carlos A. Date: October 5, 2006 at 11:59
TEMAZOS "How Many Tears","Surrender","Hold On" Disco aceptable 8.7/10

From: Metalmusicman Date: December 9, 2006 at 21:50
This absolutely stunning debut was and still is one of my all time favs by this simply brilliant band. I acutually bought this one in 94 on Long Island. It even has Bormann's name misspelled. To this day it stands as one of the best debuts in rock history to me!!! This thing is almost perfectly executed from start to finish. The only complaint, if there could be one, is that it may be a little slow in spots. Truely amazing debut!!! Truely a must have!!!

Together with Frontline and Fair Warning, the most consistence Band from germany.I`m a big fan by the boys since the debüt.For me,this is the weakest CD,but still very good. This Album is not so powerful,as the others, and i think it`s more in the AOR vein ! On the next Albums, they play Melodic Hardrock, and it Rocks big time ! Greetings to the band, and Rock on ! 8\10

These are the bonus tracks: 14. Wait For The Light(1998) 4:41 15. No One Is Gonna Hear You(1991) 3:32 16. Way Your Heart(1990) 3:29 17. Fire In My Heart(1990) 3:26. This is the best Jaded Heart Album indeed. Classic! 9.4/10

From: metalmaniac777 Date: December 31, 2010 at 9:34
Even the most jaded, cynical, hard-to-impress melodic hard rock fan has to acknowledge that within the genre, this is pretty much a classic debut. While later albums would take things up a notch, there is simply no denying the great musicianship, awesome vocals (Bormann deserves his god-like status in the MHR realm), and high-quality songs displayed on this album. Unfortunately, as good as it is, this is also one of those releases I rarely reach for, because when I'm in the mood for some Jaded Heart, I almost always grab their later releases like "IV" or "The Journey Never Ends." Still, just because this CD doesn't get to come out and play very much doesn't mean it's not really good.

exceptional debut by the mighty michael bormann (what fantastic singer) and his musicians.this record is a top class hard fm record.ok two fillers (track 2 and7) but the rest is a dream for all aor lovers of this planet.i can add that we have an excellent production and a very great sound.the "break out classic" reissue is highly recommanded cause there is four very great bonus tracks.
