No way out is an abosulte killer AOR tune.

not as good as their second album(love among...),still has some good moments...very few actually...they couldn't have donne better I think.

The hit songs off this('No Way Out' & 'Layin it on the Line') are excellent. The rest of the songs... well, they're not quite as good. But this album is still worth a listen for the moments of brilliance scattered throughout(just wish there were more of them).

A ok album, not real great but not real bad. Layin it on the Line and No Way Out are about the best thing and then it just starts to go down hill from there.

Didn't care for this one, too light. Even though, talented people here.

Another album that starts off brilliantly, but falls off big time towards the end. The opening four tracks are superb and where the real interset lies with this album. By halfway things take a real turn with the more 'Quirky' Paul Kantner stuff (Rosie Goes To Vale, Champion & Connection). If only they had carried on where the opening four tracks finished, this would have been an absolute killer disc. Still it's worth adding to the old collection for those aformentioned 4 tracks alone.

I'll just echo what Jez said above. First four tracks here are flawless mid 80's AOR with strong references to Survivor, Dakota, Beau Coup and similar acts. The rest is a bit hit and miss and not really AOR, although quite enjoyable in places. Worth buying if you can find it for a decent price.

This is like a Pop/AOR/Prog/Pomp album kinda epic at times ..."No Way Out" is by far the best cut in here and "Shinning In The Moonlight" is also a good one...this release was not my cup of tea at all,sorry...65/100
