Listen to the real stuff : Signal, i-Ten, Van Stephenson, Diving For Pearls, Drive She Said, Foreigner, Boulevard, Bystander, Shadow King, Red Dawn, Fortune, Harlan Cage, Mecca etc. etc. and forget about this one !

| Someone's done some pretty heavy voting down here.....I checked in a couple of weeks ago and there were much fewer votes and an average vote close to 10!! Hmmmmmm.....

| For sure this is not fine AOR like the really very real stuff like: Mossfinger, Buttwinch, Broken Spork, Waistband Adjustment, Purple Fire Hydrant, Lamo Stinkus, Raisin Brannosaurus Rex, Furious Suppository, Eggs in my Soup, Lurching Beancake, Streets of Spoiled Cream, Lipstikk Donkkey, or even Bust My Ass Like A Mofo. I refuse to even vote on this as others have already voted for me (wink wink, nudge nudge).

| I think you're all joking. This is an essential album of melodic hard rock. The duet with Robin Beck is worth the whole price, but the CD is full of gems. Great guitars, great sound, great vocals...and a great bunch of songs

| Dan Lucas' albums remind me of recent albums like Over the Edge and Perfect World. Great singer, great songwriters, but the sum does not equal it's individual parts. With the likes of Child, Warren, M.Jordan, J.Vallance, K.Roberts etc writing most of the songs you expect big things, but it just never reaches potential. "Canada" was better than this, and "News" was worse, but if you like jangly-guitared North American AOR you should invest if you see this or "Canada" at a low price. 6/10.

| Some people say you can never judge liking. For me this is just wonderful. Ballads have all been my favorite songs. And this is full of big ones. Had they been sung by Bon Jovi, they would've been worldwide hits. Not that Dan Lucas doesn't live up, but because of the huge marketing all around Bon Jovi.

| Agree with you,to me Dan lucas is a good artist.I like also his other release"news",unfortunately I didn't still find"Canada"cd that I think should be his best.

| This disc is a little odd. The first 2 songs are awful and the last 4 are also very poor, except I guess the final track works out in the chorus. But inbetween we have a nice bundle of commercial rock tracks. I like all of the tracks in the middle here, but my faves are the long-established faves 'Aim for the heart' and 'I'm not lookin' for an angel' - done better by Southgang and Kane Roberts, but a nice inclusion anyway. This is a pretty good disc, I must say. I like it.

| Mas de acuerdo con los 2 últimos comments. La voz de Dan Lucas me agrada mucho y sigue intacta como siempre. No un disco redondo(hubiera preferido 10 de los mejores y no 14) pero está bien cargadito de buenos temas, producción y demas todo muy bien hecho. Las baladas son mis favoritas: "Close Your Eyes and Say Goodbye" "Aim for the Heart" "Can't Hold Back"(mi favorita de todas) "I Want to Be Wanted" y por supuesto otra versión de la sentimental "If You Need Me Tonite". Si eres fan de Dan.. 8/10

The "weakest" one out of Dan's releases IMO but still good enough for our ears though..."It's Only Money"(a rocking opening!),"Waiting","Can't Hold Back"(nice),"I'm Not Looking For An Angel"(rocks!),"Aim For The Heart"(solid ballad),"Stranger"(solid softy) & "If You Need Me Tonight"(a mega ballad sang along with a fantastic female singer,Robin Beck!!!)...yes,still i could say that this is a recommended one...86/100

| In general this is not a bad cd at all, but it's not brillant either. Any which way, it doesn't top his first Canada-record. The duet with Robin Beck (If you need me tonite) is nice, but the best track for me is Where would I be.

| This is a great AOR Release in Style of Brett Walker or Beckett. Great Ballads, just listened to "Riverside" or "Close Your Eyes" also there is a duet with Robin Beck. You really should give this a chance. 84/100 and for sure everything under 80 should check their Ears.
