A good album. I would suggest the songs Hands of Love and Its the Same to start with. 8.0/10

From: koogles Date: January 1, 2002 at 11:06
Tenth-rate Bon Jovi clones manage to squeak out a couple OK tracks to start off the CD ("Miracles" and "Hands of Love") but it's all downhill from there. Kansas completists may want to strain their ears for the Steve Walsh contributions, but otherwise, this is pretty by-the-numbers stuff.

From: David Date: April 3, 2002 at 14:53
Good album, the best songs on it are "What's on your mind" and "Rainbow" which are two extremly talented ballads.

From: tachyon72 Date: May 8, 2002 at 23:37
Cool!! It's Real 80's Pop Metal. Produced By Phil Ehart & Steve Walsh of Kansas. Dennis Ogle (Guitar), Steve Taylor (L.G), Nathan Utz (V), Aaron Tate (D), Michael Fandino (B) 7/10

Lillian Axe meets Bon Jovi. Don't get me wrong this disc is no "Love & War" but it's not horrific either. The songs are tight but the writing is thin. I think given time the best of Blonz was yet to come, too bad. Best tracks are It's The Same, What's On Your Mind, Rainbow, and Last Call.

Voz parecida a bon jovi pero con mucha caņa OK

From: Trick Taylor Date: December 17, 2002 at 15:34
ARXONTAS- You are clearly a person in need of medication. Relax buddy, put on your "Death To False Metal" T-shirt and drink yourself to sleep. Koogles- Don't jump on the bandwagon. I have some opinions, but nothing stronger than what others have written. Let me have my say like everyone else. You seem more intelligent than ARXONTAS. Dan- Is this how new people are treated in HH? I love metal, but some of it was crap! You can't have the good without the bad. Great site!

Ok, kiddies, let's settle down. Guys, let "Trick Taylor" have his negative opinions; he's entitled to them. Trick: I'd appreciate it if you would use less inflammatory language when voicing your opinions. You know what this site is and pays homage to, and in my opinion you are deliberately wording some of your comments to have the greatest incendiary effect. Tone it down a notch or two and everyone will get along fine. Koogles, lay off the booze .

Not a bad effort. Too bad the lyrics were changed for "It's the same", it was first called "Preacher man" with lyrics pertaining to the televangelist scandals of the time.. The better tracks, "last call", "skintight", and "one and only" sound much the same as on the four-track demo that was a Atlanta fave way back when. The demo had a tune called "one man rodeo", a tight song with a loose, tough vibe. Probably too "tough", considering the watered-down mess that was the final mix of the album.

From: Gar Date: June 2, 2003 at 6:04
I really liked this one. The first few songs were kinda in the vein of the first DANGER DANGER album, but they got slightly heavier towards the end of the disc. My hopes weren't too high for this, but I was pleasantly surprised. Good stuff with no real mediocre songs.

From: James Date: August 16, 2003 at 17:13
does this remind anyone else of a more glam sounding TESLA?

From: Gar Date: August 18, 2003 at 16:01
Yes. Now that you mention it, it kinda does.

From: Hair Metal Man Date: February 14, 2004 at 23:39
A total amalgam of Danger Danger and Bon Jovi. Which, contrary to modern thinking, is NOT a bad thing.

From: S Date: March 21, 2004 at 0:15
Heard of the group live at, oddly enough, opening for a Mother's Finest concert. The crowd for Mothers Finest didn't really appreciate them, but I got the CD and really enjoyed it.

From: djbuick Date: May 21, 2004 at 21:19
Whatever happened to these guys? I got the CD from a friend and really enjoyed it. It isn't really a "masterpiece" in any sense of the word, but has some decent songs. The same person who gave me the CD gave me some old articles about the band. Ironically enough, they were discovered by Jon Bon Jovi hmself!!

From: Geoff Date: June 11, 2004 at 3:24
Although these guys are no Bon Jovi, the comparisons are definately justified. This reminds me a lot of Bon Jovi, without the consistancy. 'Miracles', 'Hands of love' and the beautiful 'What's on your mind' are all killer, first rate gems. Unfortunately the rest is just average (Not bad!!!) hard rock. Decent album, three killer songs.

GREAT RECORD, FANS FROM HARD ROCK A.O.R. WE SALUTE YOU

From: gener8tr Date: November 27, 2004 at 14:51
Vocals are VERY reminiscent of Eric Martin... squeaky at times but in tune. More like Tesla than Bon Jovi in my opinion. Worth the $2.99 I paid for it.

From: rick kerch Date: February 8, 2005 at 15:40
Hey guys none of you have mentioned their producer. The "Elephante" master of pomp aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaooooooooooorrrrrrrrrrrrr.

From: rick kerch Date: February 8, 2005 at 15:41
The name "Kansas"rings you a bell?.

From: ILUVUNCLETED Date: February 24, 2005 at 14:23
Hi! Just got my mitts on this CD and it ROCKS!!! Only weaker track is Its the Same...very blusy. This CD is a MUST have for any TESLA,KIX, LA GUNS, Etc Fan! Great Album from begining to end. Going to listen to this one regularly!

From: carlos_canalla Date: October 23, 2005 at 14:12
One of my favs . I bought this one once a lot of years ago, and it still like a must in my stereo. Yeah, itīs melodic hard ala bonjovi , with a little skid row feeling in some songs, similar to Roxy Blue, with a great production, a clare hit "hads of love" and a killer singer . I recomended it to everyone into hard rock.

From: aMetalhead1966 Date: January 3, 2006 at 12:56
Very Plain/Boring! Bon-Jovi jr. this is .

From: headbanger4life Date: January 10, 2006 at 5:37
These guys were another 80's pop metal band. Not a bad release. Kind of sounding like Bon Jovi. There's a copy good songs on here. I liked "Last Call (for Alcohol)" and "Miracles". Pretty easy to find this (and for a cheap price).

From: aMetalhead1966 Date: January 24, 2006 at 13:47
Been listening to this again, and compared to today's crap it's pretty good...better than I had given it to be....live and learn.

From: jet Date: April 13, 2006 at 1:05
the Blonz were an all out LIVE hard rockin' band -- I saw them live before I heard the album--the recording,-- while good -- just didn't do justice to the energy of the Blonz live!

From: shoemaker Date: October 4, 2007 at 11:34
Boring hardrock, Bon Jovi did better!

From: kipvanpearcy Date: April 28, 2008 at 10:43
There are some excellent tracks (Hands of Love & What's on your mind) nad some boring ass fillers. All in all, this isn't so bad so if you come accross this for a cheap price, go for it.

From: rick kerch vzla Date: January 9, 2011 at 17:16
People of Kansas were involved in this band/album (Ehart,Walsh and in some songs the Elefante brothers)particularly the band has some reminiscences of Bon Jovi here and there but without the grace of the aforementioned one..still delivers great tracks such as "Miracles" with those catchy choruses,"Hands Of Love" apart from being my fave is obviously the highlight of the band,a delight indeed ,"One And Only" ,"Skintight" rocks & "Sexy Ride" that could be labeled as another highlight of the band but in a minor scale than Hands Of Love...Nathan Utz is a good singer...is he still in the music business???...anyway,this album...88/100

From: hair metal again Date: March 12, 2012 at 3:11
excellent hair metal release by BLONZ !90 was a fantastic year for hard rock music and this one is one of those releases that didnt make it but worth a lot for us die hard fans!perfect sound, nice guitar work ,great vocs and much groove is what you get.highlights are "sexy ride","what s on your mind","rainbow" and "last call (for alcohol)".essential for hard rockers

From: zld Date: July 4, 2016 at 17:43
Troubled child is a killer track.
