One of the GREATEST OF ALL TIMES..WHOOO!!! Ask your mother ask your girlfriend this CD is one of the BEST.

From: Rob Date: October 10, 2001 at 10:41
This is probably THE BEST hard rock album of all time!

From: Don Date: November 13, 2001 at 20:52
Agree with Slick & Rob, this is one of the greatest records of all time.

From: Curt Date: March 16, 2002 at 0:23
Boston was a group that was way ahead of their time. Tom scholz was an electrical engineer or something like that and he made his own distortion box for his guitar. This band rocks hard especially since this album was made in 1976. Listen to anything else around that time and it wont compare. I like this band so much that I named my first boy after them.

From: TIM Date: June 4, 2002 at 21:53
This is a 10 for sure.

From: Desslar Date: June 5, 2002 at 14:42
Absolutely fantastic. Maybe the hardest rocking classic rock album ever. One of those rare bands where both the guitars and keyboards rock.

From: chief7 Date: June 13, 2002 at 20:37
One of the greatest bands and albums of all time. Kicks major fu#$&^5 Ass!

From: Rockforever Date: July 13, 2002 at 14:41
One of the best albums of the 1970s,and indeed of all time.Brad Delp's vocals are top notch, the guitars of Tom Scholz and Barry Goudreau drive this riff-laden yet heavily melodic record.Bandleader Scholz adds nice touches of organ on a couple of tracks, most notably on Foreplay/Long Time.More than a Feeling is deservedly a fucking classic, while all the others rock intensely. The band never bettered this album. It has sold 18 million copies worldwide. Truly a classic.

From: Phantazm Date: July 22, 2002 at 23:07
Listening to this right now at work on walkman... just poped this band into google and wallaaa. Always loved this album

From: Desert Rat Date: August 31, 2002 at 20:01
A party classic from the 1970s. Boston never topped this one, and few other bands did either. A lot of bands tried to copy Boston after this came out - the whole 'Arena Rock' scene started here folks - but nobody else came close. This one still rocks and it never gets old.

From: iaffprofireman Date: December 28, 2002 at 4:57
I don't know if ther's such a ting as the 'perfect' album, but if there is, this one might well be one of them. A true classic!

From: Altay Date: February 27, 2003 at 23:58
is this bass player dude brother or some kinda relative of our mighty billy sheehan?

From: Emilio Date: April 17, 2003 at 14:33

From: Chris Date: June 4, 2003 at 8:49
Unbelievable. The equal greatest album of all time. This album has never been bettered , and probably never will. It has everything (and more) than you could ever wish. Incredible guitar work, slick production, and vocals from another planet from Brad. This is Art, This is THE perfect album. 10/10.

From: freddy de keyze Date: June 4, 2003 at 15:09
Hi Chris, is this your number one ?I Great record, certainly, but I like a lot of records a lot more than this one. You gave this a ten, I give it 8,5 and Arcangel a 9, because I think it's the better of the two. I never give a ten to a record, because perfection is not of this world, Chris ! More than a feeling is classic, but for me there are also some more 'boring' tracks on it. Very good, but not in my top book of records ! But, we have almost the same taste. And the new Boston is crap, not ?

From: Chris Date: June 4, 2003 at 22:12
Hi Fred. Yes, this is the one mate (along with a certain Journey album, and the Touch album). The only releases i have ever, and will (possibly) ever give a perfect 10 rating to. I'd like to chat in more depth to you Fred, as you seem like you have some great taste. If you wanna chat some more mail me at cpeaton@hotmail.com...Be good now.

From: Chris Date: June 4, 2003 at 22:18
The 'Don't look back' album is a perfect 10 too. Sorry bout that.

From: peter Date: August 28, 2003 at 15:08
i listen to it in the 70's, 80's, 90's and now. It's the only album that is of all times

From: keebler Date: October 7, 2003 at 22:12
great cd awesome guitar work and great vocals classic.

From: fasteddie Date: November 3, 2003 at 18:35
THIS is what made me start playing guitar - the definitive album for twin harmony, VERY melodic leads - who DOESN'T know/love BOSTON! Just as good today as it was almost 30 years ago! (Has it been THAT long?)

From: Knuckles Date: November 25, 2003 at 9:09
What a piece of crap.Over rated as hell, and really is a horrible release, dont know what these guys were thinkin.Ha Ha made ya look. If you dont like this release, there is something wrong with ya,even if you may not have been born yet when it came out. This thing will live forever. I hear it being played by the young people of today which makes me feel good that all hope isnt lost of the return of good music some day.

From: PABLO Date: December 12, 2003 at 22:09
EL TEMA MORE Than a Feeling ME ESTA PARTIENDO LA CABEZA EN ESTE MOMENTO,ES INCREIBLE QUE EN LOS 70 HUBIERA TAN BUENA MUSICA AFUERA,EN COMPARACION CON MI PAIS (ARGENTINA). UN SALUDO DESDE ACA A TODOS LOS COMPATRIOTAS QUE DISFRUTAN DEL HARD-ROCK.

From: dagafu28@hotmai Date: January 9, 2004 at 18:20

From: ROBERT Date: February 17, 2004 at 13:11
¿Q PUEDO DECIR Q NO SE HAYA DICHO?? UNA MARAVILLA!! 8 D 10!!

From: Brian Mc Date: March 12, 2004 at 3:14
Not many bands can release their debut and consider calling it a 'Greatest Hits!' This lp was so hot back in the day that DJ's were playing it at the top & bottom of every hour. This one started something that's never faded away: a love affair with Boston! An absolute masterpeice offering of ass kicking rock & roll that could not be better if anyone tried!

From: Tim -UK Date: July 6, 2004 at 15:54
No question, one of the greatest rock albums of all time. Just got the SACD after listening to the album for 25 years. Still blows me away. 'Peace of Mind' is just the most awesome rock harmony track ever. The guitar and vocal harmonies are unequaled to this day. Superb songs, musicianship and production. Can't I give it an eleven?

From: Justin Date: August 2, 2004 at 22:43
Best record of all time no doubt if anyone thinks it isnt they have some problems BOSTON FOR LIFE

From: Joe Date: September 11, 2004 at 23:14
This band is easilt one of my favorites. The thing about today is that kids my age (14) only listen to rap and this new rock that just isnt from the heart. Another reason why I love this band is that Sib Hashain (drums) is a 2nd cousin of mine.

From: Wolfman Date: November 3, 2004 at 20:55
I remember when this Ass Kicken band first hit the charts.I was in my 20s.Im in my 50s now and still rocken to the same group. They are timeless.I cant understand why anyone would listen to the crap out to-day (no talent morons). When these guy where on the scene good talent was everthing. Boston,Santana,Eagles,ZZ Top,Eric Clapton, FleetwoodMac,FogHat,Jackson Brown. On & on.The kids today dont know what good music is. When Boston was hot they where the hotest and still are says my gran kids

From: Rockhits Date: November 18, 2004 at 4:48
This and Bat out of hell are the only 2 CD's I'll ever give the perfect 10 to. Each CD from them got worse (cept for the 4th one which was close to don't look back)

From: Augusto Date: November 19, 2004 at 13:29
MORE THAN A FEELING.

From: Propane Date: December 2, 2004 at 16:45

From: Animal Date: January 21, 2005 at 7:59
You can't find a more perfect song than "More than a Feeling". Bradley can really sing, man! 11/10!

From: Billy Pilgrim Date: January 30, 2005 at 13:33
"The kids today dont know what good music is." We don't have Boston being played for us to know what great music is. I would have never heard Boston if as a really young child i hadnt bought the CD with the "Space Ship" on it. Been clapping along to Boston for 8 years now and I believe i got another 70 in me. Buy your kids Boston and the classics even some classicals otherwise their going to be listening to the rap CD their friend lent them.

From: gener8tr Date: February 4, 2005 at 11:18
Perhaps the greatest true American rock album ever! Top 5 for sure, no doubt!

From: Nick C Date: March 10, 2005 at 16:46
I originally bought this when it came out at the tender age of 13....calculators out u lot!!! I finally got around to getting it on CD a few weeks ago (along with Don't Look Back) after wearing a couple of copies out and to preserve my half speed mastered vinyl version (worth anything??). It still sounds great/fresh and where Foreplay segues into Long Time the hairs on the back of my neck still get going! Superb album that has written itself into the history books!

From: cort Date: April 6, 2005 at 20:11
I don't think the rating 8.7 is high enough.More like at least a 9.5,probably a 10!Awesome C.D!!!

From: Lee Bradfield Date: May 5, 2005 at 13:06
Pretty much the blueprint of AOR. They started it with this disc, and paved the way for all the incredible AOR to follow from 38 Special, 707, Angel, Axe, Babys, City Boy, Charlie, Cheap Trick, Dakota, Duke Jupiter, Foreigner, Harlequin, Hobbit, Journey, Kiss (selected albums), Le Roux, Legs Diamond, Loverboy, Magnum, Molly Hatchet, Nantucket, New England, Prism, Roadmaster, Shooting Star, Starz, Streetheart, Survivor, Toto and Y & T. There are many other great AOR outfits, but these listed are

Classic record. This sound was ahead of it's time.

From: headbanger4life Date: January 10, 2006 at 5:41
This is by far my favorite album by Boston. This is "classic rock" to me. As a kid, I remember riding in the car with my dad and listening to some of these songs on the radio. Great memories and great music.

From: DANTE Date: June 7, 2006 at 13:04
SUPERMASTERPIECE.... DISCAZO DEL AÑO 76, CON UNA PRODUCCIÓN INCREÍBLE. OBRA DE ARTE. MORE THAN A FEELING ES UNA DE LAS MEJORES CANCIONES DE LA HISTORIA DEL ROCK. UN TRALLAZO DE ALBUM. GENIAL.

From: Carlos A. Date: October 7, 2006 at 11:23
More Than a Feeling" CLASICOS INMORTALES 10/10

From: BIG-TIME Date: December 29, 2006 at 14:57
Don't like it, this is defo an album of it's time...More Than A Feeling is about the only track I like. 70's rock just doesn't do anything for me if I was to pick a 70's band I would go for Deep Purple first an best hard rock band...KEEP ROCKIN ALL!!!

From: Metalmusicman Date: January 1, 2007 at 18:20
Without a shadow of a doubt, one of the finest rock album to come out of the 70's. This thing is flawlessly executed in every single way possible. Brad Delp's unique voice, Tom Sholtz's distinct guitar sound, that perfect melodic bottom end and backbeat, and as aiways the fantasic production quality. These are not just good songs either, they are all gems and rock radio staples. Each song better than the last. Then theres the epic "Foreplay/Longtime" that builds to an almost operatic crecendo...

From: Metalmusicman Date: January 1, 2007 at 18:24
Then slams into one of the best guitar rock songs of the 70's. I mean there is just nothing wrong with this absolutely perfect album. This is a timeless classic that I have owned on LP, cassette, and CD. All because I have played all formats to death. One of the very best!!! Recomended beyond belief!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From: z4roxx Date: January 3, 2007 at 13:32
“More than a feeling”is one of the greatest melodies ever heard,it’s a magic neverending song, wonderful!

We lost the greatest vocalist in Rock and Roll yesterday. God Speed Brad RIP

From: juan carlos Date: March 10, 2007 at 18:46
Peace.

From: Carlos A. Date: March 11, 2007 at 13:34
Rust in Peace Brad!.

From: z4roxx Date: June 3, 2007 at 5:27
"More than a feeling"is the best aor song ever heard in my life!!!!

From: Rycheage Date: September 14, 2007 at 20:58
This is a hard rock staple that any CD collection should not be without. Every song is killer and has been staples on FM radio since its release. The sound from the band was WAY ahead of its time and it hasn't aged one bit. Shame about Brad. R.I.P. Gone way before his time.

From: YIRO SEVENTH Date: October 13, 2007 at 22:05

From: Swazi Date: February 26, 2008 at 17:37

Just about every Boston track you could ever need. An excellent debut album from an excellent band!

From: edwithmj Date: October 23, 2010 at 17:25
This blew me away the first time I listened to it. I'd have to say Peace of Mind is my favourite song.

From: DonDefo Date: November 15, 2010 at 15:32
I had such a big delight listening to this masterpiece all the time doing it. I'm not playing the guitar or that stuff but I don't have to be any expert to say that this cd is absolutely well-composed with every sound put in a proper place/moment. It's a shame that Brad died. The bigger shame is how he died:/ Nevertheless, I don't know the details, though.

From: pibe Date: November 5, 2012 at 17:34

From: rick kerch vzla Date: January 23, 2018 at 18:08
An album that contains one of the most charismatic Rock hymns of all the history of music in the shape of "More Than A Feeling" that is by far the best cut of the release...some other good ones are tracks # 2,3,4 & 5...80/100

From: Doug Date: January 23, 2018 at 19:06
Anyone who criticizes this album is nuts! It's easily one of the best rock albums of all time. The production itself was so far ahead of its time. It's on par with "Back in Black."

From: hair metal again Date: July 8, 2021 at 6:53
very good debut for BOSTON defining the whole arena rock thing that was about to happen in the States!surely a classic that helped the hard rock scene move to a more commercial path!"more than a feeling ","rock n roll band" and "let me take you home tonight" are fine songs indeed!
